Sonakshi Sinha's brother, Kussh Sinha reacted to the reports about being absent from the actress' wedding with Zaheer Iqbal and shared why he was nowhere to be seen.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been painting the town red with their mushy bond as they tied the knot on June 23, 2024, after being together for seven long years. When the reports about Sonakshi's wedding with Zaheer made it to the headlines, reports stated that the diva's family members might have been upset with her decision. Later, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha had debunked all such reports. Meanwhile, it was reported that Sonakshi's brothers Luv and Kussh were missing from the wedding ceremony, thereby leaving everyone wondering if the actress' brothers were upset. However, now Kussh has reacted to all the reports around him.
In a short conversation with News18 Showsha, Sonakshi Sinha's brother, Kussh Sinha debunked all the reports about him not being a part of the actress' wedding. He stated that inaccurate information has been being spread all over, and it began with a quote by an unknown source to a portal, and all of it is not at all true. Kussh also added that a few media houses have his pictures from the wedding night of Sonakshi and Zaheer. Adding that it's a sensitive time for the family, Kussh said:
"I have already seen people publishing inaccurate information. It started with an article in a leading portal that had a quote by an unnamed source. I am not sure who’s doing all this right now and where it’s coming from. But a few houses have my images."

Going forward in the interview, Sonakshi's brother, Kussh stated that he was very much present at the reception of the couple. Sharing why he was not spotted anywhere, Kussh added that he is a private person, and this was the reason that he was not clicked widely like the other family members at the event, but it doesn't mean that he wasn't there at the event. Talking about Sonakshi's wedding with Zaheer, he stated that he has good wishes for the couple. Kussh stated:
"It’s just that I am a private individual and I am not seen that much but that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t there. I was present and I have only good wishes for my sister and will always wish her well.”
Reports about Sonakshi's brothers not being happy with her wedding started making the headlines when in an interview with The Times Of India, Luv Sinha had stated that he had no comment or involvement in the same matter. The quote from his short interview had been stretched too much and it left people wondering if he is upset with the actress' decision. What ignited the speculations was when several other family members could be seen holding Sonakshi's phooloon ka chaddhar, which is generally held by brothers.

However, a report from a leading portal claimed that Luv and Kussh were not part of their sister's wedding and the former had asked for a few days to talk about the same. Reacting to it, Luv reshared the portal's post on his IG handle and stated:
"A ‘Source’. They need better sources.”
