We found an uncanny resemblance between Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Sharma's reception looks, although the two of them wore sarees from completely different fashion houses.
Anushka Sharma tied the knot with Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli on December 11, 2017, in Italy. Her pastel wedding look from the same became a trendsetter for brides across the nation. Not only this, her regal reception look in a Sabyasachi saree was also often recreated by many actresses and brides at various times. Now, as Sonakshi Sinha donned a regal red look at her wedding reception, it reminded us of Anushka's time.
For the first look at her reception, Sonakshi Sinha wore a red-hued Banarasi silk brocade saree adorned with a simple matching-hued blouse. The newbie bride accessorised her look with a heavy bridal set and glam makeup, including bold winged eyes, blushed and highlighted cheeks and soft pink-hued lips. She opted for a neatly combed bun hairdo adorned with gajra to add an oomph factor to her look. Moreover, it was her sindoor-laden maang, a small red bindi and red-dyed hands that completely mesmerised us.

For her Delhi reception, coming back to Anushka Sharma's look, she looked heavenly in a red Banarasi saree from ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukerjee's collection. Her saree featured golden motifs and a broad border with a sleek addition of zardosi embellishments. She teamed it with a simple red blouse, an exquisite necklace, matching earrings, and red bangles. Glam makeup with bold kohl-rimmed eyes, a red bindi, soft pink tones lipstick, and a middle-parted sindoor-clad maang finished off her regal look.
For the civil ceremony at her home, Sonakshi Sinha stunned in a chic saree featuring floral embroidery. She looked absolutely ethereal and teamed her look with a simple striped blouse. Moreover, she wore a necklace studded with precious gemstones and pearl drops, matching stud earrings, and a stack of bangles to accessorise her look.

Sonakshi was also seen wearing two gold bangles in her left hand. To complete her look, the bride opted for dewy makeup, which included soft blushed and highlighted cheeks, pink rosy lips, and a bindi. Moreover, she was seen flaunting her white roses-adorned bun hairstyle. As per a report in News18, we also learnt that Sonakshi's wedding saree and necklace belonged to her mother, Poonam Sinha, and by donning them, she proved to be her mommy's princess.
