To mark their 20th wedding anniversary, Sonali posted adorable glimpses of her marital bliss, and it is simply unmissable.
The diva of the 90s, Sonali Bendre made many hearts skip a beat with her simplicity, and yet managed to create the oomph factor on-screen. After working as a model, Sonali ventured into films and made her debut in 1994 with the film, Aag. Sonali rose to fame with films like Diljali, Major Saab, Zakhm, Sarfarosh, Hum Saath Saath Hain and many more.
The timeless beauty, Sonali gave her heart to filmmaker, Goldie Behl. It was love at first sight for Goldie, who was bowled over by Sonali’s beauty. He wooed her and won her heart. The Marathi mulgi tied the knot with the Punjabi munda on November 12, 2002. In 2005, the couple was blessed with a baby boy, whom they lovingly named, Ranveer Behl.

On November 12, 2022, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl completed 20 years of marital bliss, and the actress posted a few glimpses of her marital bliss. The first picture was from Sonali and Goldie’s wedding, in which she looked magnificent as a dulhan. The second was a short clip of Sonali and Goldie, when he visited her on the sets of her show, DID Li'l Masters. In the third picture, Sonali posted a throwback moment between the two, where they were seen making goofy faces. Sonali also penned a short note which can be read as:
“Then. Now. Forever #20Years.”
Sonali and Goldie’s love story was one-sided in the beginning as Goldie was head over heels in love with Sonali, while she considered him just a good friend. Once in an interview with a leading portal, the actress revealed what made her fall in love with a simple guy like Goldie. Talking about the same, she stated:
“Goldie lost his father (Ramesh Behl) at 13 and consecutive year, he lost his grandfather, and so he grew up among five women — his mother, grandmother and three sisters. He has always been around women, who are all strong and opinionated, which is lovely as he knows how to handle a woman with a mind of her own and not feel insecure about it. My parents are naive in their morality of things and so without realising it, I landed up being ethical and having strong opinions. He can deal with that. He can deal with the fact that his wife was an actor and a celebrity.”

The year 2018 and 2019 had proved to be the toughest phase for the Bendre-Behl clan as Sonali was diagnosed with cancer and it was the support of her family which had helped her fight the battle. In an event, Sonali opened up about her cancer battle and how her husband, Goldie Behl became her pillar of strength. Talking about the same, she had said:
"Goldie has been my rock and pillar of strength to help me fight cancer. Thank God, I decided to get married to him. My mother always told me that human being matters more. Of course, there are times when you realise material things are also important, which gets you the treatment in the US, but even that cannot give you the joy the family gives and sees you through it. That is the most important thing."
