Popular actress, the late Sonali Phogat was born on September 21, 1979, in Fatehabad, Haryana. Despite being born in a Jaat family in Hisar, she dreamt of becoming an actress and a part of the showbiz business. With her tremendous hard work and courage, she managed to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. However, it was her participation in the show, Bigg Boss 14 that sky-rocketed her popularity across the nation.
Not everyone is aware that Sonali Phogat was also the National Vice President of BJP's Mahila Morcha and one of the country's most dynamic politicians. However, Sonali's sudden demise once again highlights the brutal fact that life is extremely unpredictable. The actress told Rahul how tough it was for her to cope with the pain of her husband, Sanjay Phogat's sudden demise. However, she also admitted that she had fallen in love with a guy and had decided to spend the rest of her life with him. But sadly, with time, the two parted ways over some irreconcilable issues.
For the uninitiated, Sonali Phogat had got married to a politician named Sanjay Phogat. After some years of their happy married life, Sonali and Sanjay had welcomed a baby girl into their lives, whom they had lovingly named, Yashodhara Phogat. However, it was in 2016 when Sonali's life had turned upside down after her husband, Sanjay was found dead in Hisar under mysterious circumstances. It was an incredibly tough situation for Sonali, but she managed to take care of her daughter, Yashodhara, all on her own and set up an example.

The actress and politician, Sonali Phogat was one of the most glamourous and social media savvy politicians in the country. Time and again, she used to share pictures of herself in stunning outfits and videos from her visit to political rallies and events. On August 22, 2022, Sonali had shared a series of pictures in which she could be seen wearing a pink-coloured safa on her head. However, after just a few hours, on August 23, 2022, the news of Sonali's demise due to a severe heart attack had made its way into the news headlines, and it left everyone in immense shock.
