Sonam Bajwa Takes A Dig At Ananya Panday And Sara Ali Khan For Getting Privileges From Karan Johar

In a recent interview, Punjabi actress, Sonam Bajwa took a sly dig at the young leading actresses, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday.

Sonam Bajwa is one of the most popular names in the Punjabi film industry. She is not only a famous face but also the winner of the esteemed PTC Punjabi Film Awards for Best Actress in 2020 for her performance in the film, Ardab Mutiyaran. Apart from the Punjabi industry, the actress also graces the Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil industries. However, the popular actress, Sonam Bajwa recently appeared in an interview and took a sly dig at the young-age actresses, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday for getting privileges as star kids.

During a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, actress, Sonam Bajwa was asked about anything she would like to steal from the present-day actresses, including Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday. To such a question, Sonam gave a startling reply. She said there was nothing that she would want to steal from them. But the actress then stirred the social media when she added that star kids such as Sara and Ananya can go to filmmaker, Karan Johar's house and get a role just by discussing. The actress stated:

"They can go to Karan Johar’s house and discuss and get to audition. If I get to do all of that, then yeah…"

When Sonam Bajwa previously talked about how she was disheartened after one of her songs was axed out from a Bollywood film

A few days back, the actress talked about her feelings after being meted out of Bollywood when one of the songs with her performance was axed from a Bollywood movie. For the unversed, Sonam was to appear in the song name Sip Sip 2.0 in Varun Dhawan's film, Street Dancer 3D in 2020.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sonam Bajwa shared that she was in two minds before going ahead to make up her mind to do the song. She shared that she was not sure whether she should do the song or not, but as Remo D'Souza is such a senior choreographer and Varun Dhawan is such a much-loved actor, and as the whole team reached out to her, she finally said yes. But when it was cut out from the movie, the actress felt very bad. Talking about the same, the actress stated:

"I felt very bad. Firstly, I never wanted to do a song. But the team was so looked up to. Remo is such a senior artist, director, and choreographer. Varun Dhawan is loved by everyone. I was in two minds, should I do the song, should I not do the song. But they’d reached out to me, so I decided to go ahead. And when the song didn’t make it to the final edit of the film, I was very disheartened.”

Sonam was recently seen joining Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Mouni Roy, and others on the North America tour of The Entertainers. As per the reports, she will be next seen in the movie, Carry On Jatta 3 under the direction of Smeep Kang. The movie will also star Gippy Grewal.
