And the new parents of Tinseltown, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja are thoroughly enjoying this new phase of their lives. Ever since the couple welcomed their sonshine into the world, the secrecy around his name has been grabbing a lot of media glares. Now, the reports are rife that the newbie parents have chosen a letter for their baby's name.
For the unversed, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja embraced parenthood after the birth of their baby boy on August 20, 2022, and the couple had shared the good news with an adorable note. The new parents, Sonam and Anand had taken to their respective Instagram handles and shared the news about embracing parenthood with an aesthetic postcard.

According to a report in BollywoodLife, it is stated that Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja have come up with a special way to choose the name of their son. The couple has chosen a letter for their baby's name. Moreover, they have asked their friends and family to give suggestions with the letter. The report added that the newbie parents are not looking for any unique name for their baby. Instead, they are keen on keeping a common name that has a good meaning attached to it.
Earlier, a report in Bollywoodlife had stated that Sonam and Anand are planning to host a grand naming ceremony for their son. The report had added that since the Neerja actress couldn't enjoy the baby shower ceremony due to rising cases of Conovirus in India, the new parents are now planning to organise a 'meet the baby' ceremony for their close ones.

Earlier in an interview with Vogue India, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had talked about her baby planning. Talking about the same, the Raanjhanaa actress had revealed that she and her husband, Anand Ahuja were planning to have a baby in 2020. However, their plan got delayed due to Covid-19. In her words:
"Then I heard lots of stories from my friends, who went through a very difficult time during the pandemic, going to hospitals, having their parents with them. Then we were in Delhi at the beginning of the pandemic at his parents' house, and at that point we just decide to wait, because we did not know what Covid-19 was at that point. We did not understand, and we thought, let's just wait."
In the same interview, Sonam had revealed that she and her darling hubby, Anand waited for the pandemic to vanish, however, it didn't seem to go anywhere. Talking about the same, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actress had revealed that it was on her birthday in 2021, when she decided and told Anand not to wait any longer. Sonam had mentioned:
"I think it is time, I don't think we can wait anymore."
