Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja decided on ‘happily ever after’ on May 8, 2018, and their wedding was no less than a celebration for the whole nation. While some couples take some time off to go on a vacation after marriage, Anand and Sonam opted to finish their professional commitments before going on their honeymoon. Amidst Veere Di Wedding promotions and Sonam’s Cannes Film Festival 2018 appearances, the wedding celebrations for the newly-wedded couple isn’t yet over. On June 2, 2018, Sonam’s good friend, philanthropist and chairman of Villoo Poonawalla Foundation, Natasha Poonawalla hosted a grand star-studded party in honour of the newly-weds, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja.
While Sonam Kapoor Ahuja painted the prettiest picture of the evening in a deep blue shimmer detailed off-shoulder Sophie et Voilà gown, her hubby Anand S Ahuja looked dapper in a pinstriped suit. The princess-y sleeves of Sonam’s gown made it even more enchanting, and she accentuated her look with a sparkling choker, red lips and a slicked back bun. Sonam shared some romantic and cosy pictures with her hubby on her Instagram, and captioned them as, “#EverydayPhenomenal @anandahuja”. As we can see, in the pictures, Sonam and Anand are all smiles to the camera, but in the picture in which Sonam is giving a peck on Anand’s cheeks, he can be seen blushing in love. The bash was held at Natasha Poonawalla’s residence and was attended by Anil Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Karan Johar, Shikha Talsania, Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora Ladak, Shakeel Ladak, Malaika Arora, Arpita Khan Sharma, Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Kapoor, Masaba Gupta, Maheep Kapoor, Chunky Pandey and Mohit Marwah among others. Just like #SonamKiShaadi, her post-wedding celebrations are also getting in the list of envy-worthy get-togethers of B-town. Recently, in an Instagram post, Anand S Ahuja described what their hashtag, #EverydayPhenomenal, really means. Sharing the following picture, Anand wrote, “The meaning and notion behind #EverydayPhenomenal is best described by this poem, one of my favourites.” And then, he wrote an excerpt from a famous Emily Dickinson poem, “Who has not found the heaven below, Will fail of it above. God's residence is next to mine, His furniture is love”. Sonam will ring in her first birthday post-marriage on June 9, 2018, and it will be super-special as she will celebrate it with her hubby, Anand and sister, Rhea Kapoor. In an interview with the DNA, Sonam was quoted as saying, "I'm going to be in London for work. So, Anand is coming with me. My sister Rhea will join us, too. Sonam further continued, "My friends, Shehla Khan and Samyukta Nair are the only ones who are coming with me. So, they will stay with Anand and me in our house there. We have just done it up - it's a nice, cosy three bedroom property. There's one more room and I want Swara (Bhasker) to join us, but she won't be joining us."
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja’s pictures are a proof that they are truly, madly and deeply in love with each other.
