Stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha and Varun Dhawan have already made their appearance on the show and in the recent episode, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja will be seen shunning trollers and the criticisms she used to face as people would often tell her, “shaadi kaun karega”, based on her looks!
Yes, as unbelievable as it sounds, a teaser of the show contained a glimpse of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja where she revealed the same. The beautiful Neerja actress shared, “People would say, bahut patli hai, bahot moti ho gayi hai, kaali ho gayi hai, lumbi ho gayi hai, shaadi kaun karega. It’s not correct.” She further added, “I honestly believe that a hater is a lover” and laughed it off! And we believe there’s no better way to address a hater than giving it back with a smile and so she did, seamlessly!
In the same teaser of the show, host Arbaaz Khan is seen asking Sonam Kapoor Ahuja if Bebo (Kareena Kapoor Khan) is on social media. Sonam, who is a close friend of Kareena Kapoor Khan and has also worked with her on Veere Di Wedding, revealed that Kareena is present on Twitter, but under a pseudonym and she knows this 'for a fact'! Kareena too, time and again in interviews has indirectly said that she has a complete tab of whatever’s happening on social media as she ‘might or might not be in it’!
When Kareena Kapoor Khan had appeared on the same show, she had opened up about celeb trolling and expressed her concern. Kareena had shared, “People are so ignorant towards celebrity feelings as though celebrities, actors, actresses have no feelings. Coming back to Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, in a recently conducted ‘Ask me anything’ session on Instagram, the Saawariya star spilled the beans on her beauty, makeup secrets and her healthcare regime. Sonam had shared that she uses a lots of products on her face and really takes good care of her skin. To ensure a smooth skin, Sonam shared that she does this, “Exfoliation, sunblock and moisturisation are key to good skin”. Hence she uses, undereye creams, cleansers and masks for the same.
Do you know, it all depends upon you, how your skin will look like when you wake up the next morning based upon your previous night? Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, too, has a process that she follows for the same, “When I go to sleep, I remove my makeup, moisturise again and drink a lot of water.” The actress further revealed that she has fine lines and hyperpigmentation which she conceals with makeup. She further added, “Baking really helps my concealer settle ... correct concealer, corrector and beauty powder is all you need.” What are her makeup secrets? Sonam revealed, “Great foundation, the correct concealer and kajal are important. I also love blush and mascara. I love everything makeup.”
In a 2018 chat with Anaita Shroff Adajania, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had revealed that she had PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) when she was a teen and also revealed the repercussions of the same. She had stated, “I gained around 35 kg in a span of 5-6 months. Hair started growing in all the weird places and I had acne too. During that time, I just didn’t feel good about myself." And you know what? Sonam had broken up with her then boyfriend because he had a problem with the way she looked! Yes, the starlet had shared, “My mother was a lot into health and fitness and she was really worried about me. So I finally decided to lose weight the healthy way, for myself. I want all the girls to know that beneath the make-up I am just like them.
