Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is all set to take on the role of being a mommy. After four years of marital bliss, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and her darling husband, Anand Ahuja had announced that they are pregnant. The first pictures of mommy-to-be Sonam had left everyone in awe. Recently, the gorgeousness resumed her work and shared a cutesy picture from the sets.
For the unversed, it was in 2021, when the rumours of Sonam being pregnant had made the headlines. However, the fashionista had dodged it with her witty sense of humour. She had given a hilarious shushed all the rumours with her IG story. Sharing a Boomerang, Sonam had mentioned her period details. Atop it, Sonam had written:
"Hot water bottle and ginger tea for the first day of my period"

On April 27, 2022, Sonam took to her Instagram handle and shared a cutesy picture of herself on her IG stories. In the photo, the soon-to-be mommy looked adorable in a floral kaftan dress. Her makeup was done. Sonam radiated the pregnancy glow and it was unmissable. Check it out:
On March 22, 2022, Sonam had taken to her Instagram handle and had announced that she is going to embrace motherhood soon. She had posted a series of pictures from her maternity shoot, wherein the soon-to-be-mom could be seen donning a black monokini and had flaunted her baby bump. Along with it, she had written:
"Four hands to raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. "

In an interview with the Vogue India, Sonam had talked about the difficulties she had faced in her pregnancy. She had revealed that no one warns you about the level of difficulty you will go through in pregnancy. She had also shared that there were days when she could not even get out of bed. She had shared:
"No one warns you how difficult it will be, but it will be difficult. Every week, every day, your body evolves, and you have new sensations. I can't sleep sometimes because I have to go to the bathroom, sometimes I'm sleeping for 10-12 hours and no one can wake me up. I am usually an early riser and it was like at 8:30 and I just could not get out of bed."
