Sonam Kapoor had never thought of marriage until she had met Anand Ahuja. Her friends had set up a date for her with Anand’s best friend but it didn’t work out for Sonam. Instead Sonam ended up speaking to Anand whole night. Even after being completely opposite to each other, Sonam and Anand couldn’t stop themselves from falling madly-in-love with each other.

Three years ago, on this day, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor’s daughter, Sonam Kapoor had tied the knot with entrepreneur, Anand Ahuja. Sonam Kapoor is a fashionista and her hubby is the founder of a leading clothing brand, Bhaane and together, they make an unbeatable combination. One of the most loved millennial couples, Sonam and Anand had tied the knot on May 8, 2018, in a Gurudwara wedding. And since then, we have been witnessing their mushy love and PDAs for each other.
Today, i.e., May 8, 2021, Sonam K Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja completed three years of marital bliss and their loved ones penned adorable wishes for them. Anand Ahuja’s mother and Sonam Kapoor’s mother-in-law, Priya Ahuja shared a video comprising beautiful moments from their wedding. Along with the video, Priya wrote, “Happy Anniversary to my Sweetest Sonam & Anand. Wishing you both many Lifetimes of Love and Happiness. May God Bless you two as much as we have been Blessed through both of you. Love you Dearly my Bachaas. You Brighten up our Life. May you both Always Shine Together. Sonam’s mother, Sunita Kapoor took to her IG handle and shared an array of pictures of the lovely couple and wrote, “Happy happy anniversary… May God Bless you. May your love keep growing, increasing day by day. May your days ahead be filled with laughter, May you create wonderful memories in the years ahead. Love you both so much.” On her mother’s post, Sonam commented, “Mama miss you love you.”
Sonam Kapoor’s sister, Rhea Kapoor shared how she misses celebrating their anniversary from the past two years. Sharing pictures of her ‘favourite people’, Rhea wrote, “Happy anniversary to my favourite people on the planet. Gotta make up for two years of lost adventures but we’ve got a lifetime to do ittttt! I feel like a part of my soul is missing. Love you so much. FaceTime family meetings will suffice till then #everydayphenomenal.” Rhea’s boyfriend, Karan Boolani shared a candid picture of Sonam and Anand on his IG stories to wish them.

In an interview with the Filmfare, Sonam had revealed how she and Anand are completely opposite to each other. Revealing that Anand had no idea about her, Sonam had said, “Sometimes, people believe that when they have similar interests, they can be together. No one would think of Anand and me together because Anand is totally different. He had no idea that Anil Kapoor was my father. I ended up speaking to Anand… the whole evening. Anand was trying to get me to talk to his friend… like being the middle man. But we ended up talking more.”
