The fashion police’s favourite B-town fashionista, Sonam Kapoor, is here to bring her trademark style to the auspicious occasion of Karwa Chauth. The 39-year-old actress manages to add just the right amount of oomph to her outfit every time she steps out. So, it’s no wonder that fans everywhere look to her for style inspiration. And Sonam might have just created an iconic Karwa Chauth look that will be stolen by a lot of fans during upcoming celebrations!
Karwa Chauth ensembles often tend to feature hues of red and pink. However, Sonam Kapoor, who is hailed as the queen of fashion, decided to make a bold statement by going for mint green instead. Not only that, her gorgeous outfit also featured a unique twist as it was a saree-styled lehenga that featured the best of both outfits.
Sonam donned a V-neck jacket blouse that featured intricate design work, including embroidery, embellishments, mirror details, and floral motifs. She paired the same with a flowing, pleated skirt and a long cape with bell sleeves. Put together, the ensemble’s regal silhouette exuded pure elegance. But the true show-stopper of Sonam’s Karwa Chauth look was her dupatta draped in a saree style. The simple touch added real finesse to her outfit, as it made her look all things graceful.
For her accessories, Sonam Kapoor decided to go with the ‘more is more’ mantra. She stacked bangles featuring kundan embellishments on her wrist, but her earrings are what really drew everyone’s attention. Sonam’s statement earrings were multi-layered in a three-piece moon-shaped design that extended all the way to her shoulders. And an outfit is never complete without a matching bag, so she toted a pretty potli.
Sonam opted for a balance between nude tones and glam strokes for her makeup. She went with nude eyeshadow, kajal, winged eyeliner, mascara, and darkened brows for her eyes.
