Sonam Kapoor re-shared an Instagram video by Delhi-based fashion influencer, Nancy Tyagi, which features the latter's journey of making her second outfit for her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. Sonam Kapoor, known for making strong fashion statements, complimented Nancy for her second outfit. Further, she requested Nancy to design an outfit for her. Re-sharing the influencer's video on her Instagram story, Sonam wrote:
“Best Outfit in Cannes. Make me something, @nancytyagi.”

Nancy Tyagi is a Delhi-based influencer who debuted at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. For her first look, she wore a pink ruffled gown, weighing about 20 kg. It was made of 1,000 meters of fabric and took 30 days for the young influencer to stitch it herself. On the second day, she wore a silver sequined saree and a hooded, backless blouse. Both the outfits were her own creation, and netizens have praised Nancy for her for her hard work, style, and confidence. She shared a video on Instagram revealing the intricate details behind her second outfit, and captioned it as:
"My second outfit from the Cannes Film Festival, which I wore at a special event, is another creation made entirely by me. This ensemble is a saree featuring intricate hand embroidery. Every piece was meticulously crafted and assembled by me."
Sonam Kapoor had been a regular participant in the Cannes Film Festival, and her mesmerizing looks always stole the show at the event. From elegant gowns to bold and unique outfits, Sonam never avoided donning new looks. Consequently, she established herself as a trendsetter at the French Riviera.
