Sonam Kapoor recently shared glimpses of her look from her BFF's wedding, and it gave pure vintage vibes. From her ensemble to jewellery and accessories, everything was simply unmissable.
Sonam Kapoor is one of the most gorgeous actresses of her time. Sonam's wardrobe has a huge collection of some of the most luxurious items in the world. From apparel, style statements, and accessories to her arm candies, the diva never misses a chance to grab eyeballs with her fashion sense. Even after delivering a beautiful kid, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, Sonam's fashion is still top-notch. For instance, recently, when she graced her BFF's wedding, it was yet again her vintage attire that caught our attention.
Taking to her IG handle, on January 5, 2024, Sonam Kapoor shared an array of pictures from her latest look at her BFF's wedding. In the photos, she was seen wearing a multi-coloured vintage old Banarasi saree that featured real gold weave with all antique techniques of surface embroidery all over it. Moreover, the ensemble featured a broad border with golden vintage tassels of shells and pearls. She teamed her look with a matching short kurta and a similar-patterned dupatta, which is embroidered with vintage mochi worked pieces that are more than 60 years old.

Sonam was seen radiating pure glow while donning the stunning piece of clothing. She was also seen posing with her darling husband, Anand Ahuja, and together they looked royal. For the wedding, Anand opted for an egg yolk-hued yellow resham work kurta from the ace designer, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla's heirloom collection and paired it with white salwar pants. Along with the pictures, Sonam mentioned that the duo's ensembles took months to make.
Further, Sonam's pictures gave a closer look at her unique antique jewellery. She was seen wearing silver jewellery, including dainty earrings, two broad neckpieces, and statement rings, which have been collected over a period of time. She also mentioned that the payal, designed in ghungroo form and bangles, including a kangan and a tasselled one, is an antique piece that is more than 80-90 years old. Sonam completed her overall look with sheen makeup, including blushed cheeks, glittery eyeshadow, kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lipstick and an open hairdo. Moreover, she was seen wearing a vintage-styled jhuttis featuring tassels embellished on it.
Coming to her personal life, Sonam is happily married to Anand Ahuja, and they are blessed with a beautiful son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. The kid is already 16 months old. Thus, the doting mommy, despite acing all her motherly duties, has finally found herself back. On January 4, 2024, Sonam took to her IG handle and dropped some surreal pictures of herself dressed in a traditional outfit. And along with it, she talked about regaining herself. The diva wore a white lehenga with gold borders and paired it with an illusion blouse and matching dupatta. She accessorised her look with statement earrings and opted for a neatly-combed bun hairdo.

Sharing the pictures, Sonam penned a long note and revealed how she managed to feel like herself again after 16 months of giving birth to her son, Vayu. She clearly mentioned that she regained her pre-pregnancy body without strict diets or rigorous workouts. Afterwards, mentioning her gratitude for her body, she wrote:
"It’s taken me 16 months to feel like myself again. Slowly steadily without any crash diets and crazy workouts just consistent self care and baby care. I’m not there yet but almost where I want to be.. still very very grateful for my body and how incredible it has been. Being a woman is a wondrous thing. #babymomma #proudwoman #everydayphenomenal #vayusparents."
