Recently, Sonam repeated her unique headpiece, but this time with a white ensemble.
Taking to her IG handle, Sonam Kapoor a while ago shared a photo, wherein she can be seen posing boldly for a unique photoshoot. For the same, the actress donned a white-hued saree and teamed it with a white full-sleeved blouse. A long veil with golden work in the borders added an oomph factor to her look as a modern bride. The photoshoot was surely based on a concept, and we can see the actress aced it.

What grabbed the attention was Sonam Kapoor's unique headpiece, which brought out Maharani vibes. The vintage matha patti covered half of the actress' hair and was made of gold and pearls. The front portion of it had meenakari work and pearl drops. Well, for the unversed, this was Sonam's wedding jewellery.
Yes, you heard it right. Sonam had earlier marked a trend by wearing this huge vintage matha patti on her wedding day, and truly, she looked no less than a Maharani. Along with it, for the recent shoot, Sonam wore a pearl-embedded layered haar. A soft touch of makeup, including kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lipstick, and a bindi, finalised her look.
As soon as the photo was picked up by Reddit, netizens rushed to the comment section and praised the actress. While some called her 'queen', others were in awe of the way she always pulled off each of the fashion statements. One user penned, "Queen!!" Another user wrote, "IIRC that Matha Patti is of some queen, and she had worn this on her wedding day."
Sonam Kapoor wore Anuradha Vakil's red-hued ensemble for her wedding day. She kept her makeup simple and let her ornaments do all the talking. For the day, Sonam wore her mom's jewellery, and each of the ornaments was designed by Sunita Kapoor.

Sonam's makeup artist, Namrata Soni, told Pinkvilla that the actress was way too excited for the vintage matha patti, which was from some Maharani's collection. Talking more about the matha patti's charm, Namrata added that the addition of this headpiece only brought out the best bridal charm in the actress.
