Sonam’s wedding celebrations had started from May 6, 2018 where the gorgeous diva didn’t fail to mesmerise her fans with every attire she adorned for each of her functions. Anand too, looked dapper in his beige and cream-coloured wedding sherwani which he complemented with a pagdi. To complete the look, he wore a set of two exquisite haar in the neck to go with his attire.
Sonam had spent months to ponder over her dress and look perfect on her big-day. In fact, once Sonam was quoted as saying in an interview with Brides Today, “Everybody dreams of being an Anamika bride. I just have an added advantage”. (Don't Miss! She had further added, “Don’t do the mathapatti, the nose ring, the necklace, and the hathphool altogether. Every piece should not be a statement piece. There should be one thing that’s beautiful and stunning, and everything else has to accentuate it”.
Earlier, the Kapoors and Ahujas confirmed the wedding by releasing a statement which read, “The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives”.
