Previously, during her appearance on Simi Garewal’s show, India's Most Desirable, Sonam Kapoor recalled an unheard anecdote about her growing up years. The diva, who is the daughter of Bollywood actor, Anil Kapoor, narrated how her dad never purchased any designer items for her. Adding how it was she who bought her first-ever designer bag in London, Sonam said:
“My dad hasn’t paid for any of it. Besides the fact that I live in our house, otherwise, my dad has never bought me a designer thing in his life. My dad, my mother do not buy me designer things. The designer bag that I bought myself, I was in London, I had just finished Saawariya, and I had done a ramp walk or something like that, and I got a little bit of money, and I went and bought a Chanel bag for myself.”
