Sonam Kapoor is one of the most beautiful actresses in Tinseltown. She is known for her amazing sartorial picks and graceful behaviour, which woos the heart of her fans instantaneously. However, Sonam also becomes a victim of criticism, as a section of the audience feels she is privileged and entitled. Moreover, her unfiltered opinions often grab headlines for appearing to be rude and pricey. Well, recently, a video of her resurfaced on Reddit where she admitted having been mean towards her colleague, Deepika Padukone. And netizens are pooling their views on the same.
Taking to the discussion portal, Reddit, a user shared an old video of Deepika Padukone from one of her interviews, where she was shown a clip of her colleague, Sonam Kapoor asking her a question. For the unversed, Sonam and Deepika have had a history of controversial spats long back, where the former often took an indirect dig over various aspects of the latter’s personality. Coming back to the video, Sonam could be seen admitting to Deepika for speaking a lot of mean and stupid things about her, and then asking her to react to the same. Moreover, towards the end of the clip, Sonam could also be heard apologising to Deepika. She said:
“Hi Deepika. I was wondering how do you react to some of the stupid things that I say about you on camera? I’m sorry.”

As soon as the clip went viral on Reddit, netizens rushed to the comment section of the post and started expressing their views about it. Naturally, seeing Sonam accepting being mean towards Deepika, netizens began to school the former and even trolled her. While one user wrote, “Some rivalries and bitterness are going to last a lifetime. It is actually commendable that Deepika appeared unbothered”, another netizen commented, “Sonam isn’t dumb, she’s just simply entitled. I don’t get how Sonam preaches empowerment and all that but all she really does is tear other women down.” Yet another user’s comment highlighted, “Sonam is an entitled brat who thinks the world of herself.”
A few days back, Sonam became a target of trolls when another old clip of hers from an interview with Rajkummar Rao resurfaced. The interview began with Sonam asking Rajkummar to start speaking first, since she was the senior actor among them. Thereafter, throughout the interview, Sonam could be seen taking digs at Rajkummar’s background, and indulging in self-glorification. However, eagle-eyed netizens were simply irked at Sonam’s behaviour and trolled her for the same.

Sonam Kapoor took part in the prestigious event of King Charles III’s coronation in the UK and gave a speech for the same. Being introduced as one of the biggest stars in Bollywood, Sonam began her speech with a traditional namaste and introduced eminent musician, Steve Winwood, who performed a modern version of his iconic song Higher Love accompanied by a 70-piece orchestra.
