Birthdays are always special, not just for the birthday person but for the entire family! On March 15, 2020, Alia turned a year older and her mother, Soni Razdan shared a special wish for her.
The moment a child is born, a mother is also born! A woman becomes a mother, the second she holds her baby in her arms inside the delivery room. Something changes in her and her baby becomes the centre of her universe. No matter, how tired she might be, she will always make time for her kids. And an exactly similar relationship is shared between Bollywood superstar, Alia Bhatt and her mother, Soni Razdan, who has always kept her two daughters before her. There is no denying the fact that Alia is a proud momma's girl. She shares a beautiful bond with her mum, Soni. Alia often shares snippets of her life on her Instagram feed and she had once posted a cute note by her mother. The old note was handwritten by Razdan to her daughter which could be read as “Darling Alia, this is for you to keep by your bedside to read every now and then and get reminded of how much I love you...Love mama". Along with it, Alia wrote, "One of those days where I miss my mother terribly and find this by my bedside! #mothersjustknow".
On March 15, 2020, Alia turned a year older and her mommy, Soni took to her Instagram handle to wish her daughter. She posted two unseen pictures from Alia's childhood. In one of the pictures, she was seen holding little Alia in her arms, while in the other, we can see the mini-version of Alia laughing out loud. Along with the pictures, Soni wrote, "Happy Birthday my baby girl! To me, this is how you will always feel. A sweet little baby that I need to look after and make sure your life is going as per plan. Of course these days I am not required to look after you much and that’s as it should be. But once a mother as they say .... all I wish for you is to stay safe and healthy particularly in these days of health anxiety. So this year my birthday wish is all tied up with good health! Have a wonderful day today and a healthy safe and at the same time a productive year to come. Wish you all happiness my darling, you work so hard doing what you do. This year I hope you have a super successful year and also have a little more time for yourself. To breathe, to relax and to just do nothing once in a while. So cheers to that! Lots of love always and always ... Mama."
Alia ringed in her 27th birthday with her sister, Shaheen Bhatt and friend, Akanksha Ranjan. In a video that is trending on the internet, we can see Alia blowing the candles and cutting two birthday cake while others sing 'happy birthday' for her.
Alia's half-sister, Pooja Bhatt also posted a cute picture with her fam-bam and wrote, "Forever".
Coming back to Alia's bond with her mother, in an interview with India Today, Soni had shared how the actress was brought up despite the starry background. She had said, "I did not bring up my child to think that she was a star. If I had treated her any differently, it would have messed everything up. She was brought up normally, like other kids. In a normal house, and it was a normal middle-class life." (Also Read: Kunal Kemmu Reveals Wife, Soha Ali Khan's Annoying Habits And Daughter Inaaya's Growing Popularity)
In the same interview, Soni had revealed how Alia was as a kid. She had shared, "Alia was a very obedient child, the only thing she was fussy about was what dress she wore. I would have to give her choices and she would pick her dress out knowing very well exactly what she wanted to wear. Alia was always a happy go lucky child, it is a wonderful feeling to witness how big of a star she has become now. We are all quite charmed by what she is managing to do. She is doing it well and what more can one ask."
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Alia had shared how much she values her mother. She had revealed, "I feel I am very demanding, as I expect her to take care of everything. I am fortunate to have her around to help me with my finances, diet, schedule and everything else. Every time I ask her for anything, I feel like I am asking for too much, and that I should, too, do something nice for her. I feel I don’t do enough for my mum to make her feel special. Mothers are giving in any case, but in our relationship, she is not just my mother, but also my manager, friend, doctor, therapist, and more. She is a superwoman."
