Since then, the film has taken the box office by storm and created a massive wave on social media, with fans gushing about it. Recently, Kartik and singer, Sonu Nigam graced Mumbai for the launch of the film's song, Hukkush Phukkush, and a video from the event has gone viral.
Sonu Nigam and Kartik Aaryan were recently seen at the song launch for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3's track, Hukkush Phukkush in Mumbai. The event, which was a part of the film's promotions, was attended by nearly 1,000 kids, and a video from it has gone viral. In it, hundreds of kids were seen rushing on stage to meet Kartik and click selfies with him while ignoring Sonu. 
Some kids were seen being respectful to Sonu, as they touched his feet and even clicked pictures with him. However, the majority of the crowd surrounded Kartik and didn't even give the singer a glance.

Not long after the video went viral, netizens weighed in on the incident, and they were far from pleased. One fan wrote, "I feel bad for him. He is a legend. And look how down to earth he is. People dont realize the presence we are lucky to have," while another commented, "This generation is doomed. Their admiration depends on Instagram reels."
Netizens were also in awe of the humility and grace with which Sonu handled the situation. One fan wrote, "Sonu is great. Great men don't ask for attention. They stay behind. They are self complete. They bask in their own success." Another comment read, "It's common in the entertainment industry. Legend first super start Rajesh khanna also went thru that phase. But we should appreciate legend singer sonu nigam handling this situation gracefully."
Another song by Sonu Nigam for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was eagerly anticipated by fans. Fans demanded the release of his rendition of Mere Dholna 3.0 without letting up. For the unversed, the song had initially been kept under wraps to keep building suspense. However, as fans continued to demand its release, the producers finally uploaded it on YouTube.
Well, it seems the song featuring Sonu's vocals, Sameer's lyrics, and Amaal Mallik and Pritam's composition is a massive hit. A fan wrote, "I'm telling the truth. Listening to this version by Sonu Sir brought tears to my eyes. Especially during the movie's climax, it gave me goosebumps. I don't know if he sang better than Shreya Ma'am, but this is something I'll remember for a lifetime. Sonu Sir single-handedly elevated the movie's climax."
