Squid Gamer actor, Lee Byung-hun and his wife Lee Min-jung are pregnant for the second time, confirms the latter's agency. The couple already have a baby boy.
Popular South Korean actor, Lee Byung-hun who gained global prominence from his drama, Squid Game is expecting his second child with his wife, Lee Min-jung. The duo tied the knot back in August 2013 and had their first child, a baby boy, in 2015. South Korean news organization, News1 reported that the couple is expecting their second child. The report was later confirmed by Lee Min-jung’s agency, MStream Entertainment.
News1 was the first to report that Squid Game actor, Lee Byung-hun and his wife, Lee Min-jung are expecting their second child. As soon as the news broke, fans started to reach out to the couple for confirmation. Later Lee Min-jung's agency confirms the news. The agency also revealed to the fans that the couple is thrilled with the news as they have been hoping for a second child for a very long time. The agency further added:
“It is true that Lee Min Jung is pregnant with her second child, Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung are happy about this as both of them were wishing for a second child.”

Actor, Lee Byung-hun and his wife, Lee Min-jung belong to the South Korean entertainment fraternity, where the duo met back in 2006. After knowing each other for a short time, the duo started dating. However, their romance was short-lived, and the couple soon parted ways. After a break of three years, the couple reconciled again and started dating. As fate had in store, the couple tied the knot in 2013. Lee Min-jung and Lee Byung-hun welcomed their first child in 2015, a son named Joon-hoo.
On the work front, many projects of Lee Byung-hun are to be released and shot. On August 9, 2023, Lee Byung-hun’s disaster-thriller film, Concrete Utopia, will be released. He was also cast in the second season of the global hit series, Squid Game. On the other hand, Lee Min-jung shot for her upcoming drama, The Golden Age of Villains and is currently taking a break.

Lee Byung-hun earned global fame via the hit thriller, Squid Game. Reportedly the series is soon to return with its second season. However, Lee Byung-hun once revealed that there was no plan to renew Squid Game as the director of the drama, Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed that he will never make the sequel of this stress-inducing drama. However, the makers had to renew the drama due to its global success. He further added:
‘I’ve lost six teeth due to stress. I’m never doing a television show again’. But it was the show’s global success that got him to make a sequel.”
