Sridevi was fond of 'mehendi' and would want her family members' names along with her 'mehendi' design.
Sridevi was one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. The gorgeous actress left everyone in awe with her beauty and grace. Sridevi's acting skills were loved by her worldwide fanbase, who remained heartbroken after the sudden demise of the actress. Talking about her personal life, Sridevi was married to Boney Kapoor, and they are parents to their two daughters, Khushi and Janvhi. The actress was the apple of her daughters' eyes, and vice versa. In a recent interview, mehendi artist, Veena shared an anecdote about the late actress that proves her love for her family members.
Sridevi always paid respect to Indian culture and celebrated each occasion with utmost respect. Well, in a recent interview with Pinkvilla's Hindi Rush, Veena Nagda talked about her experience of cladding Sridevi's hands with mehendi. She shared that the actress used to love to get her mehendi done, and she was fond of the arts. Sharing more about it, Veena mentioned that Boney Kapoor requested her to wait for a few hours so that she could do Sridevi's mehendi when she would return home after work.
In the same interview, Veena Nagda shared that Sridevi would always apply mehendi on her hand on the occasion of Karwa Chauth and would request her to write Boney Kapoor, Janhvi, and Khushi's names on her palm. The mehendi artist shared how the then 4-year-old Janhvi would sit beside her mom and would get designs done on her hand. Veena mentioned that she would never forget Sridevi.

In an interview on IMDb exclusive segment Ask Each Other Anything, Janhvi Kapoor mentioned that she would never go bald for any kind of role. The actress mentioned that for her role in Uljah, she had to cut her hair, but she didn't do it and had a fight with the director. Talking more about the same, Janhvi mentioned that during Dhadak, she once cut her hair short, and her mom, Sridevi yelled at her, asking her about how she could do that. Janhvi recalled how her mom used to oil her hair every thrice a week and how she was so proud of her hair, and this is why she would never cut her hair.
It was in February 2018 when Sridevi, along with her family members, went to Dubai to attend a family wedding. Well, on February 24, 2018, the actress was found dead in her guest room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai. Boney Kapoor had to go through a lot of tests, including lie detector tests as well. Well, As per the postmortem report, the actress died by drowning.
