Meet the viral internet sensation, Srijana Subedi, who is getting hailed by everyone as a 'Queen' after she lost her Nepali husband, Bibek Pangeni, to Stage 4 brain cancer.
Srijana Subedi is the name that is doing rounds on different social media platforms at the moment. From Instagram reels to Facebook videos and YouTube shorts, influencers and members are lauding her for everything she had done for her late husband, Bibek Pangeni. Some people call her 'Queen', and many label her as the purest definition of an 'ideal partner'. The reason why people are so impressed by Srijana Subedi is due to the way she has taken care of her husband, Bibek Pangeni, in the last two years.
For the uninitiated, Bibek Pangeni was a Nepali influencer, who used to document his life with his wife, Srijana Subedi. The couple used to drop pictures and videos from their vacations and family time on Instagram, giving people major marriage goals. According to several reports, Bibek was a Nepali PhD candidate at the University of Georgia who married his longtime girlfriend, Srijana Subedi, after dating each other for some years. Unfortunately, it was in 2022 when Bibek Pangeni was diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer.
It was on June 5, 2023, when Srijana Subedi shared a video on her Instagram handle after a gap of 11 months, and it left everyone shocked. In the video, Srijana and Bibek Pangeni could be seen sitting on a bench, but what broke everyone's heart was the line that was written atop the video.
The caption could be read as "Me to my 4th stage cancer patient husband", followed by a heart, flower, and a smile emoticon. In the video, Bibek looked completely unrecognisable as he had shaven his head because of the treatment. Along with the video, Srijana had penned "My world" in the caption, leaving everyone in tears.

After this video, Srijana Subedi documented her husband's entire battle against cancer with the hope that they will come out victorious against the deadly disease. Unfortunately, Bibek couldn't beat cancer despite doctors' best efforts and Srijana's unbelievable support. It was on December 19, 2024, when the heartbreaking news made its way on social media, leaving thousands of people completely heartbroken, who have been following the couple's battle against cancer for more than a year.
In the last year, Srijana Subedi's Instagram handle went viral due to her story and the way she was taking care of her husband, Bibek Pangeni, in his battle against brain cancer. She has 752K followers on her Instagram handle, and almost every single one of them was praying for Bibek's well-being. From celebrating his birthday to sleeping with him on the hospital bed and helping him in his everyday activities, Srijana dedicated her life to Bibek's treatment. She even cut down her hair to support her husband, Bibek and did everything to make him feel loved.
Unfortunately, in the end, Srijana Subedi lost her husband, Bibek Pangeni, to brain cancer, leaving her completely heartbroken. Since the announcement of Bibek Pangeni's death due to brain cancer at the age of 32, there has been no post on Srijana's IG feed. However, people try their best to console Srijana by dropping heartfelt comments on her IG posts.
