Sriti Jha and Kunal Karan Kapoor don’t believe in social media PDAs and it is only in the rarest of days (read birthdays) when you will see this duo posting heartfelt birthday wishes for one another. Hence, when Kunal had turned 36 last year on August 22, 2018, his ‘ladylove’, Sriti had posted a picture of the duo almost twinning with one another as they sat on a pedestal and had written, “Here’s wishing you perfect days, my favourite elder millennial, who told me the tales of cue cards. A year has passed since then and it is once again time for Sriti Jha to open the gates of some cute PDA and post a heartfelt wish for her apparent beau, Kunal Karan Kapoor. A June 2019 report containing the details about Sriti Jha and Kunal Karan Kapoor’s breakup had broken our hearts. As per a media port, things weren’t working out between the two, and thus, Sriti and Kunal had called it quits. The report had also claimed that if the two do not mend their ways soon, it's highly likely that the separation will soon be done and dusted. Harshad Chopra and Kunal Karan Kapoor, who were once best friends, are not on talking terms anymore, for the reasons that are best known to them (and probably us too!). While both Sriti and Kunal have always maintained a ‘no comments’ stance on this, a close friend to the ‘couple’ had once shared, “Sriti and Kunal are very serious about each other and they will take their relationship to the next level."
In a 2014 interview with the HT, Sriti Jha had bared it all out about her and then beau, Harshad Chopra’s marriage. She had shared, “People ask me this question a lot, but even though I want to say that we are just friends, I don’t, as I know it will be taken in another connotation. It makes me sad that fake news about my marriage is out. When asked if they were dating, Sriti had shared, “No, we are not dating. But such news really affects me, which is why I am clarifying right now before it becomes a big thing. We both have to work in the same show, and in the same industry. So such reports eventually affect things in the future.” Also speaking about love and marriage, Sriti had revealed, “Love is a lot of magic and madness followed by marriage. These are the three M's for me. I think these three keep life intact. I am a very filmi person and would like the magic and the madness to remain in my marriage forever.”
