The PIL filed by BJP leader and lawyer Ajay Agrawal contends that 'the entire country is shocked with the way the Mumbai Police is handling this case'. FYI, the apex court on July 30, 2020, and on August 7, 2020, had dismissed two similar PILs (Public Interest Litigations). A day ago, Sushant Singh Rajput's family had issued a 9-page-long public letter, in which they had talked about SSR's background, his family, his dreams and how 'some people' are churning their benefits by playing politics and dragging Sushant's name in murky headlines. The letter, penned in Hindi had talked about Sushant and his family's struggle and how, despite being from a small town, they had given their children wings to fly high and fulfil their dreams. Excerpts of the letter could be read as "The first daughter had magic; someone came and took her away to a foreign country. The second one played for national cricket team while the third one did a study on the law. The fourth daughter did a diploma in fashion designing. The fifth one was Sushant, who was 'mannat' of his mother. Whole life the family did not take anything from anyone, neither harmed anyone."

Edging on the whole controversy around Sushant's death, the letter had also talked about how Sushant was surrounded by cons and how his family was manipulated after his death into giving 'names'. It had also comprised the agony of Sushant's family when 'authorities' had made a circus out of his death instead of catching his killer. In the nine-pages long letter, Sushant's family had raised a lot of questions. Read the full letter below.
