Shark Tank India is one of the most-loved business reality shows on television. Now, it is running its third season of the show, and yet again, it is getting all the love and appreciation from its viewers. Yet again, one of the pitchers slammed the show and two of its judges, including Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar, for wrongly projecting the former's brand.
In an interview with ETimes, an athleisure wear brand, Aastey's pitcher, Jeevika Tyagi got disappointed with Shark Tank India judges, Namita Thapar and Vineeta Singh. Jeevika mentioned that the show makers have wrongfully portrayed her business. Moreover, she called out Vineeta and Namita for their rude behaviour. Jeevika mentioned that she had also made her business with a lot of love and underwent a fair share of struggle. Thus, she mentioned how everyone on the show was quite rude towards her and the entire pitching team of her brand. Calling how Vineeta defeated all the major qualities of building a brand, Jeevika shared that it was hurtful. Jeevika said:
"There are only three things that make you an entrepreneur, first is of course you should know your finance, the second is you should know your cause ki ye hum kyu shuru kar rahe hai. And third is the image and the product that you're creating. Vineeta has defeated those three things in our case. She said, we don't have a cause, our product is useless."
Jeevika then went on to slam Namita, who said that the former and her team have spent Rs. 10 crores on marketing. But the young entrepreneur clarified and said that they have spent only Rs. 4 crores. Further revealing how, in the same season, the sharks, including Namita and Vineeta, have also invested in her friend's company, but made mean comments on her brand. Moreover, Jeevika mentioned how, since then, she has been constantly answering all the trolling that came their way after appearing on the show.
