Suchitra Krishnamoorthi recalled how Shah Rukh Khan would treat Gauri during the shooting of the film, 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa'.
The OG couple of the glamour world, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri have always reinstated our faith in love and marriage. At the mere age of 18, SRK lost his heart to the vivacious Gauri, and after a lot of ups and downs, the two got married in 1991. It was in 1994, when Shah Rukh Khan starred in the romantic comedy film, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, along with Deepak Tijori and Suchitra Krishnamoorthy.
And since Shah Rukh Khan was newly married, his wife, Gauri would often visit the set to spend time with him. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy revealed witnessing Shah Rukh and Gauri’s love for each other on the set. Revealing how he would treat her on the set, Suchitra recalled:
“We were witnessing it on the set with Gauri. The way he was with Gauri, he used to be like she is made of rose petals, you know the way he used to treat her. It was just so beautiful.”

Shah Rukh Khan is a charmer amongst his female fans. However, back in those days, he used to get shy and was not very comfortable around women. Revealing how she used to hang out with Gauri, Suchitra said:
“Shah Rukh was very reserved. I used to hang out with Gauri. He used to be quite shy and quiet with me. I think he was shy with women.”
Shah Rukh Khan played the role of a happy-go-lucky boy, 'Sunil' in the film, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. The naive and romantic character of 'Sunil' was deeply rooted in SRK. Earlier, during a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Suchitra recalled how SRK would think of Gauri while shooting romantic scenes with her and said:
“When Shah Rukh was doing Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, wo mujhe nahi dekh rahe the, wo Gauri ko dekh rahe the. Isiliye wo expressions sab itna masoom, itna real tha..it was all so real.”

Shah Rukh and Gauri went through a lot of struggles to be together, be it keeping their relationship a secret for five years or even changing his name to pose as a Hindu boy to impress Gauri’s parents. Shah Rukh and Gauri did all they could to convince her parents about their love and how serious they were for each other. Shah Rukh and Gauri never thought of eloping as he wanted to win the heart of everyone in her family. After winning her parents, the duo got married on October 25, 1991, in a Hindu marriage ceremony.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in the much-anticipated film, Jawan.
