After KKR's win against SRH in the IPL 2024, a throwback picture of Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, and Shanaya Kapoor went viral. Netizens reacted to it.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Indian Premiere League Team, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets in the Chepauk Stadium to clinch the 2024 title. SRK, along with his wife, Gauri Khan, and children, Suhana, Aryan, and AbRam, was present to watch their team emerge victorious after 10 long years. But did you know it is the same stadium where KKR bagged its first IPL trophy in 2012?
Well, 12 years ago, KKR defeated Chennai Super Kings on their home turf, M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, to nab their first-ever IPL title. An X (formerly Twitter) post by Mufaddal Vohra has been doing rounds on the internet, featuring Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, and Shanaya Kapoor’s then and now pictures allegedly from the finals of IPL 2012 and 2024. In the throwback picture from twelve years ago, SRK, Hrithik Roshan, and Chunky Pandey were seen posing with very young Suhana, Shanaya, and Ananya. The latter was even seen wearing specs.

In the other picture, the three best friends were seen cheering for KKR from the stands in the final match of IPL 2024. Ananya and Shanaya opted for white crop tops with KKR’s logo paired with denim and were seen in a jolly mood. Meanwhile, Suhana Khan, on the other hand, wore a black KKR jersey paired with jeans and looked pretty tensed in the picture. The post was captioned as:
“2012 IPL Final at Chepauk. 2024 IPL Final at Chepauk. Ananya, Suhana, Shanaya.”
As the X post made its way to the internet, it sparked a flurry of reactions in the comment section. Some eagle-eyed fans pointed out that the throwback picture couldn't be from 2012, as Hrithik and Chunky were not present in the final. Others were amazed by the transformation of the three BFFs over the years.

Apart from KKR’s win, there was another reason for SRK’s family to celebrate. It’s their little one, AbRam Khan’s birthday. The latter turned 11 years old on May 27, 2024. To commemorate the same, Suhana Khan took to her Instagram stories and penned a sweet birthday post for her brother. She shared a solo picture of AbRam and wrote atop it:
“Good day to be the birthday boy.”
