With the wedding season around the corner, the excitement level is unmatchable and the news of our favourite TV and tinsel town celebs getting married is like frosting on the cake. To start off the wedding season, cricketer Zaheer Khan and Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge are getting married in November end and then follows a list of celebs who are all set to get married.

Latest genre that is trending on television is the historical sagas, and after Maharana Pratap, Peshwa Bajirao and others the trend continues with another epic drama of Porus. Porus is all set to go-air next month and its lead actress is set to get married. We are talking about Piyaa Albela actress Suhani Dhanki who is making her comeback with Sony TV serial, Porus.
The actress has been dating a financial consultant in London, Prathmesh Modi and after their relationship of a year they got engaged on February 12. The couple will tie the knot on December 3, 2017.
In an exclusive interview with the leading media portal, Suhani spilled the beans on how she met the love of her life and revealed her wedding details. On the clash of her wedding and show release, she said:
“It's a big moment for me as Porus is a lavish show and I got an opportunity to play the main lead. At the same time, I will be getting married soon. I am over the moon.”

She then revealed how she met her would-be-husband. She expressed:
“We were friends for while before he popped the question and I said ‘Yes’. We then spoke to our parents who approved the match and we got engaged on February 12, 2017 – three months after the proposal.”
She talked about the guest list of her wedding and revealed who all from the industry will attend the wedding. She gushed:
“We will have a grand Gujarati wedding in Mumbai which will be attended by family and friends. From the telly world, the cast of Porus, Piyaa Albela, Shafaq Naaz and Riya Deepsi (Mahabharata), Mahima Makwana (Adhuri Kahaani Hamari). Also, a large section of the Indian Classical Dance fraternity will be a part of the do (Suhani is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer).”

Talking about how she’ll manage work post-marriage, Suhani said:
“Yes, I look forward to the two big happenings in my life, that is my marriage and Porus. Both the events will happen around the same time. The biggest challenge for me will be of Porus launching just around my marriage date. Having said this, I am excited about it. I had to move to London post my wedding, but will not go till Porus is on. So, there will be lot of shuttling between my shoot and my trips to London post my marriage.”
If she would take a sabbatical post-marriage, she said:
“Prathmesh and I share great understanding and he is comfortable with my career choices, be it acting or dancing. Thus, I do not have to compromise on that front. In fact, he follows my performances closely and is supportive. I will shuttle between London and India.”
When asked about the honeymoon destination, the actress said:
“I want to keep that a secret.”
Well, coincidently Suhani will be sharing her wedding date with two other famous celebs from the television industry. Aashka Goradia-Brent Goble and Bharti Singh-Haarsh Limbachiyaa are also getting married on December 3, 2017. Here’s wishing lots of love and luck to these couples.
