The two became very good friends while working together in Shastri Sisters in 2014 and after the show got over, the two started dating. Sumit was the one who proposed Sonal.
Although the show ended in 2015, their relationship is getting only stronger with time. The two are often spotted on various dates and they also visit each other on their sets during the shoot!
Sumit is currently playing Kushal’s yonger brother in Beyhadh while Sonal is playing the lead in Zee TV’s hit show, Yeh Vaada Raha.
