Famous Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma walked the red carpet at Cannes 2024 and penned a heart-melting note thanking her fans.
Famous Punjabi singer, Sunanda Sharma is known for her superhit songs, Mummy Nu Pusund Ni. Tu Chandigarh Ka Chhokra, Duji Vaar Pyaar and many more. She is one of those Punjabi singers who broke the stereotype that Punjabi female singers' songs can only work with male ones. Recently, Sunanda made the entire nation and Punjabi industry proud by walking the red carpet at Cannes 2024.
The moment fans witnessed Sunanda walking the red carpet at Cannes 2024, it felt like a personal achievement. For her first appearance, Sunanda donned a pretty white-hued patiala suit, featuring an anarkali-styled kurta with sheer sleeves and dupatta. The singer looked pretty by donning a maang teeka and a nath. Soft-toned makeup with mascara-laden eyes, eyeliner and glossy lips completed her look. Sunanda's look was completed with soft curls.

Sharing the photos, Sunanda expressed her joy at how a girl from a normal family started dreaming so big. She further thanked her fans for showering her love and respect in Punjabi. Her note can be read as:
"Aam jahe ghar di kudi, supne ene khaas kado ton lain lag payi,pta nai laggeya. Tusi hamesha mainu pyaar te izzat bakshi ai.. Eh post tuhade sareyan de naam."
Sunanda not only walked the red carpet but also attended the famous Bharat Parva, a celebration of Indian cinema and culture on the global platform. She also performed her hit songs, such as Meri Mummy Nu, Gud Naal Ishq Mitha, and many more. Sunanda also expressed gratitude for being a part of the Cannes Film Festival. She was quoted as saying:
"I am truly honoured to have been a part of the Cannes Film Festival this year. Walking the red carpet, attending Bharat Parva, and sharing a private dinner with esteemed dignitaries were incredible opportunities. I am grateful for the chance to have represented Indian music and culture on such a prestigious platform."
Sunanda also shared glimpses of her airport look on her IG handle. She was decked up in a gorgeous white Victorian-style top with contrasting flared pants. She accentuated her look with a floral blazer and a pair of glares. The singer showed off her swag while sitting inside the aeroplane.
