A report by the ANI now states that the actress' mother has landed herself in a problem after she was cheated by a man named Sudhakar Ghare. He sold her a land by using fake papers and took Rs 1.6 crores for the same. Therefore, Sunanda Shetty had to take the help of the police and has filed a complaint in a land deal case.
The news agency, ANI took to their Twitter handle to quote the information provided to them by the Mumbai police. The tweet can be read as "Sunanda Shetty, mother of Shilpa Shetty files cheating complaint against a person named Sudhakar Ghare in land deal case The accused, with the help of fake papers, had sold land to Sunanda for Rs 1.6 crores. Case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC: Mumbai Police."

Besides Shilpa Shetty Kundra's husband, Raj Kundra's arrest in the pornographic case, the duo has been slapped with a fine of Rs. 3 lakhs for violating some insider trading rules. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) imposed the penalty on the couple and businessman, Raj Kundra's company, Viaan Industries for going against their rules.
Taking to their Twitter handle, the news agency, ANI had stated the same. Their tweet could be read as "SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) imposes a penalty of Rs 3 lakhs on actor Shilpa Shetty, her husband and businessman Raj Kundra, and his company Viaan Industries for violation of its Insider Trading rules."
