The singer who is widely applauded for her professional success and achievements, Sunidhi Chauhan is very private (like literally!) when it comes to her personal life. For the uninitiated ones, Sunidhi married Hitesh Sonik in the year 2012, who happens to be a music director and a singer himself. The lovebirds had enjoyed two years of courtship before tying the knot. It was a marriage completely away from the media glare. On January 1, 2018, Sunidhi and Hitesh welcomed their first baby – a baby boy and entered the parents’ clan. Now, Sunidhi has shared an aww-so-adorable video of her baby boy and he is so so cute. Here’s the video and check out his chuckles:
As mentioned earlier, Sunidhi is very secretive when it comes to her personal life (fair enough!). So much so that no one had any heed about her pregnancy. It was on her birthday on Aug 14, 2017, when she turned 34, that she shared this happy news. At that time, she was already in her second trimester and 5 months pregnant.
It was stated in a media report, “Yes, Sunidhi is five months pregnant. She hasn’t announced it to many except her family and close friends. In fact, she has minimalised her outings as to avoid any paparazzi spotting her with her baby bump. And later, Sunidhi Chauhan’s father Dushyant Chauhan confirmed the news and was quoted as saying, “It’s a new chapter in Sunidhi’s life and we all are very happy and equally excited. Sunidhi has always been a hardworking child and has made us all proud with her work. But now that we will soon be grandparents I just can’t contain my happiness. She is finishing her prior commitments but as a family we have taken a decision to not let her do outstation shows as her health is of utmost priority to us.”
And at that time, Deccan Chronicle quoted Sunidhi as saying, “I have to be careful so live shows post-October will be on hold. I’ll return to them after six-seven months. But singing is not stopping because it doesn’t need to. I’m happy recording songs in Mumbai. I’m at peace and I don’t have to run from one place to another.”
Speaking about her delivery and the responsibilities of pregnancy, the then mother-to-be revealed, “I have been preparing myself mentally, but I have four-and-half months to go before the baby arrives. I’m new to this so I don’t know how to plan. Our respective families will have a go at it because they know better. The excited mommy-to-be was also quoted as saying, "I am thankful to all the amazing wishes coming my way for me and my baby. I am super excited. This is something that I am experiencing for the first time. I am thankful to God for that because, now that I am in this state, I have realised that it is the most beautiful thing, the most magical thing on earth."
