Sunil Gavaskar's cheeky reply on Virat Kohli playing in IPL 2024

Recently, Sunil Gavaskar attended an event at the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, wherein he was questioned by the students whether Virat Kohli would join IPL 2024 or not. To this, Gavaskar answered in a speculative way and mentioned that Kohli is away from the game for some reason, so he may not play the IPL 17 as well. However, it's worth mentioning that no official confirmation about the same has been yet made by Kohli or RCB. Sunil Gavaskar can be quoted as saying:

"Kya woh khelenge... kuch reason ke liye khel nahin rahe hain, shaayad ho sakta hai ki IPL ki liye bhi na khele."

On the other hand, Suresh Raina, in a recent interview with India Today, shared if he thinks that RCB will win the IPL trophy this year. To this, Raina said that Virat Kohli deserves a trophy.
