Sunita Ahuja Dismisses The Claims Of Tina Leaving Bollywood, Says She Didn't Get Work Due To Govinda

Sunita Ahuja dismissed the claims of her daughter, Tina Ahuja, quitting Bollywood and held her husband, Govinda, responsible for their daughter getting less work.

Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja often makes it to the headlines with her straightforward statements. She never minced her words and speaks her mind out about anything and everything. It was a few days ago when Govinda and Sunita's daughter, Tina also grabbed the attention with her statements. Tina, a few days ago, made a statement that made people believe that she has stepped away from acting. And now, the actress' mom, Sunita dismissed the same and held her husband, Govinda responsible for their daughter getting less work.

Sunita Ahuja feels Tina Ahuja gets less work in Bollywood due to her father, Govinda

Tina Ahuja made her debut in Bollywood with the movie, Second Hand Husband, alongside Gippy Grewal and Dharmendra, and her stint was loved by many. She was also seen in some music videos. Well, the actress' journey was not that successful in Bollywood. Talking to Pinkvilla's Hindi Rush, Sunita Ahuja blamed it on Govinda that their daughter got less work in Bollywood.

She mentioned that while Tina got good responses for her work in the movie, Second Hand Husband, people got scared that she was working, as they assumed that Govinda might come to the sets and start being bossy and abuse others. Sunita added that Tina doesn't need to struggle to run the house, and she is waiting for a good role. Sunita remarked that if her daughter will land up with a good role, she will definitely take it up. Sunita can be quoted as saying:

"The response was good. But, everyone has created a fear that if Tina works, then Govinda will come on the sets and abuse because he is a strict father. I don’t understand why people create such myths. She is waiting for a good role, she doesn’t need to struggle to run the house. Agar uske liye achha kaam aata hai, toh wo kyu nahi karegi? Aap log mauka toh do kaam karne ka."

Sunita Ahuja says nepotism only works in a group in Bollywood 

Sunita Ahuja feels nepotism is also a reason that Tina Ahuja didn't get good work in Bollywood. Talking about the same, Sunita mentioned that nepotism should be stopped and other people should also get the chance to work. Sunita shared that she feels that nepotism only works in one group, and thus, people need to peep outside and let others get an opportunity to work as well despite giving a chance to a selective group of star kids. Confirming that Tina is open to work, Sunita said:

"Nepotism band karo na. Doosre logon ko bhi kaam karne ka mauka to do. Aap ek hi group mein sabko…wohi group mein kaam hota hai. Baahar bhi toh dekho, log aur bhi baithe hain. Abhi bhi she is open to work. Kaam milega, woh karegi, usko shauk bhi hai bohot kaam karne ka. Abhi ek hi actor ko aap kitni baar dekhoge."

Sunita Ahuja dismisses the buzz about Tina Ahuja leaving Bollywood and talks about son's debut

In the same interview, Sunita Ahuja talked about her son, Yash's debut in Bollywood. She told Yash not to follow his father, Govinda. For the unversed, Yash is all set to mark his debut in Bollywood. She mentioned that people will try to draw a comparison between her son, Yash and his father, Govinda, thus, she advised him to follow his own style. Sunita said that Yash is hardworking, and once someone asked him to lose 8 kilos, he ended up eating nothing for a week. Talking about her daughter Tina, Sunita said that the former won't leave Bollywood. In her words:
