As Sunny Deol graced the popular television show, 'Aap Ki Adalat', he revealed how he had to take help from his father, Dharmendra to solve his bank feud worth Rs. 56 crores.
Sunny Deol is one of the most outstanding actors in the industry. He was recently seen in the film, Gadar 2, which witnessed a huge success at the box office. As per the latest reports, the film made a total collection of Rs. 512 crores to date from its release on August 11, 2023. However, amidst the appreciation of the film, Gadar 2, various reports suggested that the actor once suffered bankruptcy, and after being unable to repay loans of over Rs. 56 crores to the bank, his lavish home in Juhu was put up for e-auction. However, Sunny soon issued his statement on the same matter and dismissed all such rumours.
Now, Sunny Deol graced the popular television show, Aap Ki Adalat, hosted by Rajat Sharma and revealed a few anecdotes about the same. When the host of the show asked Sunny why he has no interest in politics, the actor said, "Mujhe suit nhi ki. Jaise main pehele actor hoon, main director bhi bana, producer bhi bana, lekin maine sab kuch chor diya kyunki I wanted to be a good actor." Soon, Rajat added, "Haan apki baat sahi hai, apko toh producer nhi banna chahiye tha kyunki producer banke jo loan liya uske badle office neelam hone ki baari aa gyi." To this, Sunny explained why he had to face such circumstances and said:
"Dekhiya hota ye hai buisness mein, hota toh nhi hai lekin jab kabhi shortcoming ho jati hai, aap picture bana rahe ho, bana rahe ho aur recovery nhi hoti toh phir obviously aapne apni property di hoti hai, problems aati hai toh mujhe bhi kaafi problems aayi. Toh ye sab chal rhi hai lekin aksar jab bhi hum kuch bhi problems aati hai, aur humare paas properties rehti hai toh hum usey dilute kar dete hai taaki paise de diye jae aur aagey badhe."

But to this, Sunny mentioned that although he had written letters to the banks that he would repay all the loans once he returned, the notice was still published in the newspaper. Sunny added:
"Kahi technical problems thi, maine unko letters bhi likhi thi jaane se pehele jab main gadar ki promotions kar rah tha 17 aur 18, 19 tarikh ko do dafah bheje the ki main aake 24-25 tarikh ko aake sab sort out karlunga lekin unhine patanhi kya bolu, badmashiya toh log karte hi rehte hai. Lekin ye unko karna nhi chahiye tha. Haan unke pass right hai karne ka, I had already given that letter."
At the end of this segment of the conversation, the host jokingly then asked Sunny, "Aab toh aapne kaafi kamayi kar li hai, toh de dennge?" To this, the doting son revealed that not only will he be able to repay the loan, but he will also try hard to return the property, which his dad, Dharmendra diluted for him. In Sunny's words:
"Kyun nhi aur main toh apne papa ki banai hui jagah bhi usey bapas karna chahunga lekin film produce nhi karunga."
