In an interview, Sunny Leone talked about her first encounter with the trolls when she was just 19-20 years old and what repercussions she had at that time.
Popular model-cum-actress, Karenjit Kaur aka Sunny Leone who began her Bollywood debut with the film, Jism 2 in 2012, opened up about facing hate at the beginning of her career. The actress, who gave stunning performances in films including Jackpot, Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela and Mastizaade, was highly hated for her work, so much that she even feared coming to India. In an interview, she also mentioned how the hate trolls had affected her then.
In a new interview with Galatta Plus, Sunny opened up about receiving huge hate mail and death threats when she was a newcomer in the entertainment industry. The Baby Doll actress further mentioned that these kinds of threats made her think that people in India were so angry at her and that she would never come to India. Sunny said:
“In the beginning of my career, I received so much hate mail and death threats and all sorts of crazy things when I first came into the adult entertainment industry that I said there is no way I will ever go to India as Sunny Leone because they are so angry at me."

Further, in the same conversation, Sunny mentioned that she was only 19-20 years old. Thus, she felt an absence of a guide in her life and elaborated more about her first encounter with the trolls. She explained:
“When I got those letters, I was 19-20 and when you are 19-20 there’s a lot of things that affect you in a certain way that would never affect me now and you just don’t know. And I was alone so it wasn’t like I had someone to guide me, or speak to about these things saying ‘it’s okay, relax, don’t worry about haters, there are so many out there’. That was my first encounter with trolls and people talking all sorts of bad things."

Coming to Sunny's personal life, she tied the knot with an actor, Daniel Weber, in 2011. And after being in marital bliss for six years, they adopted a 21-month-old baby girl, Nisha in July 2017. Later, in 2018, the couple was blessed with twin boys, Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber, through surrogacy.
On the work front, Sunny is currently hosting the reality dating show, Splistsvilla X4.
