The viral video showed that the senior photographer was angry over the seating arrangement made for the paparazzi. He could be heard telling Suriya that they had been waiting a long time and that the event was delayed by many hours. The Jai Bhim actor, Suriya heard the senior photographer patiently and made him calm down. He then apologised to him and said:
“I apologise for the delay. It is not the Mumbai traffic, it is the air traffic. We’ve been taking flights everyday. Excuses aside, sincere apologies. I couldn’t have control over this. Sir, I hope we have your love, we still have your love."

In an interview, with MoneyControl, Suriya revealed his Tamil movies had been remade into Hindi films. He also spoke on which remake film he had liked the most. Suriya credited Aamir for his fame and mentioned that the Ghajini actor praised Tamil movies which were made into Hindi remakes. For the unversed, Suriya's film Kaakha Kaakha, became Force, Ghajini kept the same title in Hindi, and Singham was remade with the same name, though with many changes. Finally, Soorarai Pottru was remade as Sarfira. Talking about Aamir Khan crediting his films, Suriya said:
"Usually, when a film is remade, the original actors and directors are not mentioned. But I believe Aamir Khan is the first to always credit the original film, its actors, and directors. The reason people in North India know me, even though they don't speak Tamil, is because Aamir Sir kept mentioning my name."
Suriya's film, Ghajini, was made in Hindi, and Aamir played a pivotal role. The superstar expressed that Ghajini was one of those rare movies that crossed the language barriers and Suriya had also admitted that he became a big fan of Aamir's performance.
During the press meeting in Mumbai, the makers of Kanguva revealed that the film would be made in two parts. Suriya had shed light on the sequel and had said that Kanguva 2 was in line and that fans would be left with a lot of questions in the climax of Kanguva 1. It will have a lot of questions and a lot of surprises. So Kanguva 2, would also be in the pipeline.
Suriya will be seen in a dual role in Kanguva. Disha Patani and Bobby Deol will also have pivotal roles, and this will be their Tamil debut. The movie is set to release on November 14.
