On Sushant Singh Rajput's first death anniversary, his sister, Meetu Singh shared pictures from the puja held at her residence. Along with it, Meetu dropped an emotional note remembering her brother.
June 14, 2021 marked the first death anniversary of Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. The internet was flooded with special tributes, montages of his movie scenes, picture collages of his memorable photos, and much more. Late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's friends from both the television and film industry paid their respects to the actor, who had so much potential in him but had gone too soon.
However, it was Kriti Sanon's collage and her heart-breaking note for her Raabta co-star, Sushant Singh Rajput, which melted everyone's hearts. A small excerpt from her note can be read as "Today, it feels so painfully weird to know. That You and I are not in the same world anymore.. Still feels like it hasn't happened for real. Like maybe you are still around and I'll bump into you somewhere."

June 14, 2021, was an emotional day for Sushant Singh Rajput's family. A glimpse of which was shared by Sushant's sister, Meetu Singh on her Instagram handle. The doting sister shared two pictures from the puja that was held at her residence in Sushant's memory. In the pictures, we can also spot Sushant's other two sisters, Priyanka Singh and Neetu Singh along with Meetu Singh, who looked emotionally drained in the photos.
Along with the pictures, Meetu Sigh penned a painful note in the caption, in which she mentioned that she had failed to get back into the normality of everyday life. She wrote, "My Pride, our Pride. Since the past few days grave despair has been brooding in the back of my mind. Last year's fateful event took all of us by such shock that I have failed to fall back into the normality of everyday life."

Going further in her note, Meetu Singh also stated that many people had used her late brother, Sushant Singh Rajput, for their selfish motives, hidden behind their fake concerned faces. Her note continued, "Many have brutally used you and the majority of them are still doing so. Manipulation is masked by love, selfish motives are hidden behind concern."
Meetu Singh also added that she would have given him her existence. She added, "Today the misery was so strong that if the laws that bound us ceased to be, I would have mould your being out of my emotions. I would have given you my existence."
Late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Meetu Singh also revealed how helpless she is at this moment as she stated that no matter how much she prays or talks about him, he isn't going to come back. Meetu Singh continued, "You always used to say "Aap kaise kuch bhi kar leti hain na, Ruby di", I wish those words were true, because I desperately want you back but no matter how much I pray, work or talk, you are not coming back."

At the end of her note, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Meetu Singh took the pledge that no matter how bad the circumstances would be in future, she'll continue to fight to get her brother the justice he deserves. Meetu Singh concluded her note by writing, "I will try to live life with a purpose of evolution. Jaan, all I want you to know is that your name will always shine in all our hearts and I will do everything in my mortal powers to get you Justice."

Sushant Singh Rajput had passed away at the age of 34 on June 14, 2020.
