However, after months of efforts and chaos between Maharashtra police and Bihar police, the case was handed over to the CBI for further investigation, giving hope to the nation that justice will be served soon. It had started with the ED figuring out the money laundering case made against Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty and now, with Rhea’s arrest in Narcotics case, the case is taking new twists and turns every other day. Along with CBI, it is media that is brutally trying it’s best to find out the truth, and in one such media trial, Republic TV got hold of SSR’s friend, Siddharth Pithani's shocking revelations on Disha Salian's death.
The agencies working on SSR’s death case are investigating every possible angle, and some are also finding a connection between his death and his former manager’s untimely death on June 8, 2020. Now, Republic TV has accessed Siddarth Pithani’s statement given to CBI, which stated that Sushant had feared for his life after learning about Disha’s death. A source close to CBI revealed to the channel, “After hearing Disha Salian's death, he fainted. After regaining his consciousness, he feared for his life and said, 'I will be killed'.' Pithani also went on to claim that 'Sushant wanted his security to be enhanced.”
Earlier, it was stated that Siddharth Pithani had told the CBI that Sushant had gotten unwell post hearing the news of Disha’s death and was asking him for every single information regarding her death. He had said, “When Sushant got to know about Disha's death, he became unwell, after which he spoke to Uday, manager of a company called Cornerstone. This company sent Disha as Sushant's celebrity manager when Shruti Modi had an injury. Sushant had become very tense after the news of Disha's suicide on the 9th of June. Because of this tension, he asked me to sleep in his bedroom. He kept asking me for every single information about Disha's death, I gave him every information.”
This statement by Siddharth has helped the CBI to find connections between Sushant and Disha’s death. For the uninitiated, it is reported that Disha had jumped from the 14th floor of her building in Malad on June 8, 2020, and Sushant was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. CBI is investigating Disha’s suicide angle in connection with Sushant’s death and her absconding beau, Rohan Ray is said to be investigated soon. A few days back, according to a source of Times Now, the Central Bureau of Investigation had planned that the final investigation report in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case should be ‘conclusive’, without any confusion and was said to focus more on ‘homicide’ theory. The team is expected to have a formal meeting with the medical team on September 17, 2020. The medical board of AIIMS was given the task of examining the medical aspects of the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
