Late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput was everyone's favourite because of his struggle story and super-humble nature despite being a big name in the Indian film industry. The actor had stunned everyone with his exceptional performances in movies like Kai Po Che!, Kedarnath, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sonchiriya, and Chhichhore. But on June 14, 2020, everyone was left shocked when the news of his death had surfaced all over the news channels and all over the internet. The cause of his death was suicide after battling with mental illness for years. However, the family members and close friends of Sushant had bashed these claims and had started a campaign 'JusticeForSSR'. On September 8, 2020, television news channel, Zee TV has released two videos of late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput that has been recorded by Rhea Chakraborty. In the videos, we can see Sushant doing child-like behaviour, and his face also looks a bit pale and unwell. After the video has surfaced on the internet, millions of his fans have started accusing Rhea of feeding drugs to the late actor. Also, the actor can be seen reading a famous book, 'Loaded' that is centered around the topics of money and psychology in the world. Take a look. On September 8, 2020, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. According to News 18, Rhea was taken to Sion hospital for a medical test following her arrest. After the news had made its way in media, Sushant's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti had reacted to the news by sharing a screengrab of it on her IG handle. Alongside it, she had written, "#GodIsWithUs."
According to a Times Now report, during the second round of interrogation by the NCB, Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty had alleged him of forcing her to do drugs with him. However, at the beginning of the investigation, Rhea had given the statement that she used to procure drugs for Sushant but had never consumed any herself. Rhea was confronted with her brother, Showik by the NCB officials. She has now changed her statement and has said that Sushant had forced her to do drugs.
As per the latest reports coming in, the magistrate court has rejected the bail plea from her family's side. The actress has been sent to judicial custody till September 22. After the start of investigation the CBI, the list of persons that have been arrested so far includes Rhea's brother, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda (Sushant's manager), Deepesh Sawant (Sushant's former cook) and several other alleged drug peddlers.
