Sushmita Sen in her recent interview, spoke about the matters of her heart, and also gave a befitting response on being tagged a 'gold-digger'.
Former Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen needs no introduction. The diva is known for her incomparable charm, never-ending beauty and her big heart. For the unversed, after winning the 1994 Miss Universe pageant, Sushmita went on to spread her magic on the celluloid, and made her debut with the 1996 release, Dastak. Thereafter, there has been no looking back for the diva. Apart from her professional achievements, Sushmita has often grabbed headlines for her personal life. She created a national uproar when she adopted her daughters, Renee and Alisah, while being a single woman. Moreover, she has also created a lot of buzz with her dating rumours over the years, which included Vikram Bhatt, Lalit Modi and most recently, Rohman Shawl.
In recent times, Sushmita Sen grabbed all the headlines when prominent entrepreneur, Lalit Modi dropped mushy pictures with the former and announced that the duo were in a relationship. While the actress never accepted nor denied any of it, she undoubtedly became a target of trolls, who called her a gold digger. And now, in a recent interview with Rudrani Chattoraj, Sushmita gave it back to all such mean tags that were given to her. She said:
“It's good that those comments came to me and I could define 'gold digger'. An insult is an insult when you receive it , which I don't. But there are certain things that are nobody's business."

In the same interview, Sushmita touched upon the matters of her heart and revealed that she is still single. Interestingly, this comes as quite a contradictory revelation, considering her visible close proximity with her ex-beau, Rohman Shawl. Nevertheless, confirming her singleton status, Sushmita mentioned:
“FYI, I am as single as they come that is also NOYB.”
In yet another of her interview, Sushmita Sen spoke about her daughters, and touched on the topic of them not having a father in their lives. In an interview with ETimes, Sushmita highlighted the importance of having a father in one’s lives, and added that there is no imbalance in her daughters’ lives due to not having one either. In her words:
"Like everything else in life, you don’t miss what you never had."

In a previous interaction with News18, Sushmita Sen revealed that her health condition now made her more responsible enough. She added that she has a new perspective towards life after her major health scare and felt fortunate to be on the other side.
