Urvashi Rautela recalled how Sushmita Sen informed her about not being allowed to participate in Miss Universe at three in the night.
Urvashi Rautela is one of the most famous personalities in showbiz. She is known for her beauty, talent, and acting. She made a lot of buzz with her Cannes appearance last year. Not many know that her journey into the films started after she won Miss Teen India in 2009. Later, in 2012, she was crowned Miss Universe Indian, which made her a prominent name in the entertainment industry. However, she wasn't allowed to be part of the Miss Universe pageant, and she got to know about the same at three in the night, which broke her heart.
Recently, in an interview with Times Now, Urvashi Rautela first time talked about a heart-wrenching moment when Sushmita Sen informed her that she could not participate in the Miss Universe pageant. Recalling the moment, Urvashi revealed that it was three in the night when Sushmita asked her to step down from the International beauty contest. Urvashi revealed that she wasn't eighteen at the time of the Miss Universe contest, and because of the criteria, she couldn't participate in it.

Urvashi called it a filmy scene and stated that rain was pouring when Sushmita informed her. She was standing outside her house with her father and cried in the rain. She was quoted as saying:
"It was 3 a.m. at midnight at Sushmita Sen's house, where she told me you couldn't go. Obviously, it was earth-shattering. When I came back my father was there. I was outside the house, and it was raining. It was completely filmy moment. I was crying. The rain was all over, and my tears were there. It all mixed up and became very filmy."
Last year, Urvashi made a lot off buzz as she made her first outing on the red carpet of Cannes in a pink tulle gown, designed by Sima Couture. The outfit featured tiered layers of floral ruffle, and she accessorised her look with a Cartier neckpiece featuring two intertwined crocodiles. The actress called the necklace an original one with history. However, a jewellery designer later claimed that the much-talked-about necklace was fake. And the famous Instagram fashion critic, Diet Sabya confirmed it.
A jewellery expert, Arundhati De Sheth, first took to her Instagram stories and talked about Urvashi's viral neckpiece. She shared a video of Urvaashi talking about her crocodile jewellery. Atop the video, she asked the actress whether she wore the original Cartier Maria Felix crocodile necklace. If so, then who was the maker of the earrings? She had written:
"And, who is the maker of the earrings? Clarification desperately needed! Won't get sleep."
