While there are times when you don't understand each other, there are also days when you miss their presence in your life. And that's the kind of bond that is being shared between Bollywood superstar, Hrithik Roshan and his ex-wife, Sussanne Khan. Before we take you further into the story, let us remind you that due to the pandemic, Hrithik and his ex-wife, Sussanne Khan is living together and co-parenting their boys, Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan. When the Government had passed overnight 'stay at home' orders in the nation, due to the pandemic last year, Sussanne had temporarily shifted to Hrithik's house. So, both parents could enjoy their time with their kids, Hridhaan and Hrehaan.
On January 10, 2021, Hrithik turned a year older, and his ex-wife, Sussanne Khan took to her Instagram handle to pen a lovely wish for him. She shared a super cute video, which was a compilation of all the lovely moments of Hrithik spent with his two handsome sons, Hridhaan and Hrehaan. Alongside the video, she wrote, "Happy happiest birthday Rye. Wish you the warmest and most beautiful parts of life to look forward to. Have a meaningful blessed 2021." Check it out below:
Coming back to the decision of living together amidst the pandemic, Sussanne had talked about the same in an interview with the Vogue magazine. She had opened up on the decision of co-parenting with Hrithik and had said, "When COVID-19 was declared a pandemic and the news was out that a lockdown would be imperative, Hrithik and I decided that staying together in the same home would be the more intelligent and soulful decision for our sons, and for us. We realised early on that the days ahead would require us to regroup our energies towards creating serenity for one another. With that thought in mind, and a heap full of love, we started on our lockdown adventure." Sussanne had further shared how on the first day, they had sat together and had jotted down a list of activities they were wishing to do amidst quarantine. She had stated, "So here we are, in lockdown for more than 45 days, living through an unusual time that we have never experienced before in our lifetimes. On the first day itself, we sat together and created a list of ‘quarantivities’ (activities to do as a family in quarantine). The idea was to structure our days in such a way that we grow our minds, warm our hearts and keep our bodies fit and strong—where we have no option but to use a little creativity and innovation to enjoy our days without a sense of monotony seeping through."
For those who don't know, Sussanne still continues to call Hrithik her best friend and often regard the bond they share as sacred. We remember when she had appeared on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, BFF’s With Vogue, she had talked about her first love, Hrithik. She had recalled the time when she had first met her ex-husband, Hrithik in the '90s, and had said, “That’s when I explored, studied, went to LA and came back when I met a superstar boy who was not a superstar at that time, but was one in my eyes when I met him. But before this I didn’t realize I didn’t have any interest in the film world. But destiny gets me back that way.
