The world went in for a momentary shock when Sonali Bendre took to Instagram to share the news of her high grade metastatic cancer on July 04, 2018. And ever since, multiple encouragements and heap loads of wishes from friends from the industry, fans, family and media has been pouring in.
But you know what? Ever since the world heard of Sonali’s cancer, her girl gang has ensured frequent visits to her in New York, where the beautiful actress is undergoing her treatment. Her girl gang incudes none other than Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan and Swades fame, Gayatri Oberoi. Sonali is very good friends with Hrithik as well, who keeps on clicking their pictures every now and then.
Coming back to their beautiful friendship, Sussanne is making sure that Sonali remains encouraged to the fullest. Hence, today (September 08, 2018), Sussanne took to her Instagram to post a beautiful picture of her girl gang with a heart-warming and encouraging caption. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “This is Us.... Sharing the pictures, she had written, “What I know for sure... Sonali too, took to Instagram last month and had posted her first-ever heart-breaking picture without hair on her head, happily sipping on some liquid with her BFF’s, Sussanne and Gayatri. Expressing her gratitude towards having friends like these and feeling positive about life, Sonali had written, “This is me. And in this moment, I am really happy. People give me strange looks when I say that now, but it's true and I'll tell you why. I am now paying attention to every moment, looking for every opportunity to find joy and #SwitchOnTheSunshine. Yes, there are moments of pain and low energy, but I am doing what I like, spending time with people I love, and feeling very loved and happy.”
She had further written, “I am extremely grateful to my friends, my pillars of strength, who at a moment's notice, arrived to be with me and help me through this. In between their busy schedules they find time to visit, call, message, FaceTime... basically never leaving a moment for me to feel alone.
