Taapsee Pannu recently tied the knot with her longtime beau and badminton player, Mathias Boe in an intimate ceremony, the actress now revealed that her friend made all her wedding outfits.
Taapsee Pannu is one of the most versatile actresses in the entertainment fraternity. Over the years, the diva has won everyone's hearts with her bold personality and strong opinions on various aspects of life. However, if there is one thing that Taapsee has always kept under wraps, it is her personal life. Taapsee has been in a romantic relationship with badminton player, Mathias Boe for over a decade but has seldom talked about it on public platforms.
Taapsee recently married Mathias Boe in a private and intimate ceremony. The actress did not even make an official announcement about her wedding, and her fans could get glimpses of her ceremonies via leaked pictures and videos. And now, Taapsee has finally revealed some insights into her wedding ensembles.

In an interview with HT City, Taapsee Pannu revealed that one of her college friends designed and made all her wedding outfits. Taapsee wanted to be comfortable and free on her D-day, so she opted for no lehengas but only salwar suits for her wedding day. Her friend, Mani Bhatia, designed all her wedding outfits just like she wanted, and it even helped her to keep her wedding a secret. In her words:
"Also because when you have some big name on board, then the chances of the news getting leaked out are very high, and I wanted to keep it very private. So, my college friend, Mani Bhatia designed all my outfits, and that's how I wanted. I didn't have any lehenga in my entire wedding because I wanted to dance a lot on all functions."
Taapsee Panny is a Punjabi, and she has grown up seeing Sikh Gurudwara weddings, so it was natural for her to incline towards salwar kameez instead of lehengas. Taapsee wanted to enjoy an authentic Punjabi wedding; hence, she donned on a traditional suit for her wedding and relished the feeling of being a bride. Taapsee further added:
"I've grown up seeing Sikh and Gurudwara weddings, so for me, the vintage idea, the classic idea of getting married, was always in a proper red salwar kameez paired with a dupatta with kinari on the border. That's the only way I know a bride looks like a bride, and it didn't feel real wedding vibe to me to imagine myself dressing up in pastel-hued lehengas."

In the same interview, Taapsee Pannu shared that she donned a Punjabi-style lungi for her haldi ceremony and paired it with a kurta, just like in the DDLJ movie. Taapsee revealed that she wore bell-bottom style pants and a sequin top with diamond accessories for her sangeet ceremony. Talking about her wedding jewels, Taapsee shared that she opted for the light jewels that her grandmother had gifted to her mom. She added that her kaleeras and chooda were also very minimal, Taapsee further added:
"For the wedding, I wore traditional Punjabi saggi phull,which is a hair accessory, along with a very light necklace and earrings that my grandmother gave to my mother at her wedding. I had other jing-bhang for the Indian wedding. My chooda and kaleere also were very basic."
