Taha Shah Badussha has been soaring high with his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actor played the role of 'Nawab Tajdar Baloch' in the series and instantly carved a space in the hearts of the audience. In one of his interviews, Taha Shah stated that he auditioned for a small role in the series but later was shocked when he was given the lead role. Apart from that, the actor also recently made his Cannes debut, and his fan following has been increasing. However, netizens now reacted to Taha Shah's growing popularity.
Recently, taking to their official IG handle, a paparazzo page revealed that it just took 13 days for Taha Shah to gain a whopping one million followers on his IG handle. And why not? After he ended up impressing the cine junkies with his craft, the actor was tagged as the new national crush. However, the post was liked by Taha Shah himself, and it clearly spoke volumes about how proud he was of his achievements.

As soon as the screengrab of Viral Bhayani's post was shared on the discussion platform, Reddit, users started penning down their opinions. Reacting to the photos, users started praising the actor for his acting mettle in Heeramandi. Some users stated that the young actor has finally received the fame for which he has been working hard for years. On the other hand, some more users revealed how not only Taha Shah but also Laapataa Ladies fame, Pratibha Ranta gained 600K followers within just a couple of days.
In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Taha Shah talked about the struggles he had faced during the early days of his career. The actor walked down the memory lane and recalled how he had to stand in line for eight hours for auditions and had to give 18 auditions on a daily basis. Talking more about the same, Taha Shah revealed that he also used to pay 4-10K to some companies who offered him a few roles, but later, those organisations just disappeared. Taha Shah also mentioned that he is desperate about what he does and that everyone should be equally passionate about their dreams, and then only the opportunities would knock on the doors.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Taha Shah mentioned that, at first, he was offered a small role as a friend of 'Tajdar'. He said that after he was done with the look test, Sanjay Leela Bhansali told him that he would not get that part, which broke his heart. Taha shared that after a while, the director shocked him by saying that he would play a lead role in his series.
