We know it is a great day for us when Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s almost-two-year-old toddler, Taimur Ali Khan pops up on our social media feeds. Our dull day brightens up, weekends become a lot happier when a video or a picture of Taimur come up on social media and in no time it goes viral and like how! Ever since his birth, Taimur has been the nation’s crush and netizen’s obsession. (Also Read: Taimur Ali Khan's Super-Cute Cowboy Pre-Birthday Cake Has A Deep Meaning For Him, Picture Inside)
On December 7, 2018, Taimur Ali Khan was accompanied by his mother, Kareena Kapoor Khan for the 3rd annual kids' sports day. With fun sports games including kids and their mothers, the bacha party looked super-adorable in yellow polo t-shirts, while their mothers sported a green/black top. Here are the adorable pictures and videos from 3rd annual kids sports day, 2018:
About the big birthday bash that was celebrated on December 7, a Deccan Chronicle report quoted a source saying, “Taimur has his own friends in school now, plus many other pals from the film fraternity like AbRam (Shah Rukh Khan’s son), Laksshya (Tusshar Kapoor’s son), Aaradhya (Abhishek-Aishwarya Bachchan’s daughter), etc etc. Plus, there’s Taimur’s most favourite little sister Inaaya (Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu’s daughter). Also, Taimur now understands the nitty-gritty of birthday parties, the cake, candles, balloons, games. He will definitely have a party for his birthday this time.”
And the reason why Kareena and Saif hosted the celebrations, two weeks ahead of Taimur’s birthday, is because, Taimur will join his mommy, Kareena Kapoor Khan in South Africa, along with his daddy for a work-cum-leisure birthday vacation. The source shared to Filmfare, “In the coming few days, Kareena will be leaving for South Africa due to her work commitments and later she will be joined by Saif and Taimur there. The idea of celebrating Taimur’s birthday there has got Kareena very excited. Unlike last year, they plan to keep it low-key and more private.”
Taimur Ali Khan’s daadi, Sharmila Tagore had earlier expressed her concern over the growing popularity of chote Nawab. Speaking about the same, she shared, “I must confess I’m worried about him a bit. We in this family have all had our share of media attention. They place you on a pedestal and then suddenly drop you. At the moment Taimur is not affected because he’s too young to understand what’s going on. But later when he’s older and if the attention is taken away he might get affected. So we are a little concerned. But as Sara said, what can we do about it? Frankly, without the media, we are not alive in today’s day and age.” (Also Read: Unseen Pic Of Taimur Ali Khan Making Puppy-Face, Carries Personalised-Matching Bag With School Dress)
In an interview earlier, Kareena too talked about the immense attraction and massive social media craze that Taimur enjoys. Bebo had stated, “We just want him to lead as normal a life as possible. That's the most important thing for him. I'd like the paparazzi to not shoot pictures of him every moment. I don't want his life to be documented. He is only 17 months old, once or twice is enough, but not the constant badgering.”
Taimur Ali Khan’s cousin, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, daughter of Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu too enjoys the same attention by media and paparazzi, and she also has a massive fan-following and innumerous fan pages dedicated to her. Expressing her worry about the same, Soha once stated, “No, not all. She is a part of me. I realised it became a headline that I worry about her in terms of nazar and all. Obviously, we are protective about her. Every parent is. We do everything from Kaala dhaaga to kaala teeka even if we are not superstitious as it makes someone else happy, so there is no harm in it. I worry about the attention she receives but I am proud of her. I am happy to share my happiness with her with the world but it is unfair to the kids, be it Taimur Inaaya or any child to be exposed to too much attention from media. Childhood is innocence at the end of the day.” (Also Read: Taimur Ali Khan Gets 'Exhausted From The Paparazzi' Personalised Gift On His Pre-Birthday Bash)
