Grandparents love their grandchildren with all their hearts. And in Bollywood, there are numerous grandparents-grandchildren duos, who share a very warm bond with each other. Actor, Randhir Kapoor also shares a very close-knit bond with his grandchildren, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan Pataudi, kids of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiaan Raj Kapoor and Samiera Kapoor, kids of Karisma Kapoor.
Randhir Kapoor is in awe of his grandkids, Taimur and Jeh and just like any other nanu, he loves these two little munchkins to no end. In fact, when reports of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's younger son naming their son as 'Jeh' were doing the rounds in the media, it was Randhir Kapoor, who had confirmed the news to PTI.

Recently, Randhir Kapoor had graced the reality show, Indian Idol Season 12 with his presence for a 'Randhir Kapoor special episode'. With multiple themes and concepts, the show has presented budding singers from across the nation. However, what touched the veteran actor was a sweet gesture from his grandson, Taimur Ali Khan, who had sent a special note for his nanu.
In the special episode, which has already been shot, Randhir Kapoor's grandson, and Saif and Kareena's son, Taimur Ali Khan, sent him a special gift. It was a cute hand-made greeting card that reads "I love you, Nana. Take Care.” This surprise from his little grandson touched the doting grandfather, and he talked about the close bond he shares with his grandchildren.

On the show, Randhir Kapoor thanked Taimur instantly and expressed his gratitude. He also shared that he would go and meet Taimur soon after the show. ETimes quoted him as saying, "Thank you very much for sharing this with me, thank you very much. After the shoot, I will directly go and meet him."
The doting grandfather also added that just like any other grandfather, he loves his grandchildren more than his daughters, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor. He stated, "Just like how every grandparent loves their grandkids more (asal se zyada sood pasand hai), similarly, I love my grandchildren more than Karisma and Kareena. Because they are my grand-kids.”
