'Takht' director, Karan Johar is famous for his witty humour but his latest tweet revealing what his little son, Yash calls him sent Twitter roll in the aisles.
There are a lot of things that we should inherit from our parents’ generation or the people before them. The reason is the fact that there are a lot of things that we do lack in our relationships these days. However, we don’t talk about our mistakes and prefer to hide under the blanket of our self-ego and cry all night long for our loss. No matter how many times we shake our head in disapproval to the fact that our generation lacks loyalty and true love, the brutal reality knocks us straight into our heads every night before we close our eyes. But, if things will not change now, then the day isn’t too far when there will be no relationships out there and we wouldn’t be able to trust anyone. The biggest and much-needed in today’s relationships is ‘trust and friendship’. No matter what relation we are talking about, there should be some layers of trust decorated with the pearls of friendship. For instance, let’s take the relationship of a ‘father and his son’ in consideration because it’s hard to find any other relation that holds this much of arguments and differences. No wonder, there’s a big gap in-between the two in terms of ideologies, principles, and of course, the time but both of them need to find a common ground where they can try to understand each other. That common ground is something that needs to be maintained right from the start with the concrete of friendship. The reason is the fact that there are a lot of children out there who aren’t close to their fathers and feel shy and scared sharing friendly-behaviour with them. To understand it better, let’s bring Bollywood’s famous director, producer, and a man of all trades, Karan Johar in the picture.
Karan Johar is famous for his friendly nature and a close relationship with young stars of the industry. Well, there’s a reason why KJo is regarded as the best mentor and friend by a lot of young stars such as Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Abhishek Varman, Ayan Mukherji, Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday, and the list goes on. All credits go to his witty humour and the heart of a kid that he holds proudly. However, it’s hard to believe that Karan Johar is a father of two children, son Yash and daughter Roohi. On Thursday, the Takht director shared a tweet in which he revealed that his 3-year-old son, Yash calls him by the name, ‘Karan JOKER’. The Twitterati along with some popular names commented on the tweet with LOL emojis and ‘Hahahas’. There were a lot of fans, who didn’t forget to appreciate his humorous reaction because adding ‘joker’ in your father’s name is like an instant death formula for any Indian kid out there. Among the notable names, bestselling author Amish Tripathi is the one who shares his sad story of being brought up to the ground by his son in his reply to KJo’s tweet. The author of ‘The Immortals of Meluha’, Amish had written in his tweet “My son thinks Rick Riordan’s books are better than mine! I think sons exist to bring us, obsessive fathers, down to earth!!!”
Isn’t it beautiful to see parents having such a friendly bond with their children? No wonder, it is something that normal parents should also inherit from these celebrity parents. However, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Karan Johar had talked about the changes he experienced in his life since the incoming of his two little children. He had stated “My life has changed since Roohi and Yash arrived. At 44, this is my biggest blockbuster. But I can’t get over the fact that they are mine. It’s like a powerful switch has suddenly come on in my life, filling the emptiness in my personal space with new energy. I get teary-eyed just looking at them. It’s surreal to think of them as my daughter and son. It’s daunting even, but gorgeously, when I wake up suddenly at night to remember that I have life breathing in the next room that I’m accountable for. My universe was Dad, Mom and films. But now there are Roohi and Yash. My two new friends.” (Must Read: Aditya Roy Kapur Reveals His Mother's Reaction On His Marriage Rumors With Model, Diva Dhawan)
