Tamannaah Bhatia recently opened up about how she has been handling her separation from her long-term boyfriend, Vijay Varma.
Tamannaah Bhatia recently attended the trailer launch of her upcoming Telugu film, Odela 2. The event was organised in Mumbai on April 9, 2025. The actress had some candid conversations during her appearance, one of which was about her going through a difficult time in her life.
Tamannaah Bhatia didn't directly take the name of her now ex-boyfriend, Vijay Varma. However, her cryptic response to one of the questions led the viewers to believe that she was referring to the actor and their relationship. She mentioned that one should look within themselves to find the answers to their problems. She added that when there is a problem, they often look on the outside to find support, but one should not do that. She was quoted as saying:
"I think jab zindagi mein koi problem aati hai ya kisi difficult zone se guzar rahe hote hai toh hum hamesha bahar kuch dhoondne ki koshish karte hai, ke hume koi sahaara mil jaaye. Lekin, I think, jo maine seekha hai is jo bhi hume chahiye voh hamare andar hi hai, hume kahin bahar dhoondne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Agar hum andar sach much jhaak ke dekhe toh hume harr prashan ka jawab mil jaata hai."
During the same event, Tamannaah Bhatia was left surprised when a journalist asked her about achieving victory. The interviewer laced the question with wordplay and seemingly aimed to get a reaction out of the actress at the mention of Vijay Varma. The question was drafted carefully with the actor's name in play. He asked if there was a personality over whom the actress would like to achieve victory with Tantra Mantra. He was quoted as:
"Aisi koi personality hai jiske upar aap tantra mantra ki vidya se uske upar Vijay haasil karna chahti hai?"
Tamannaah Bhatia was visibly unimpressed by the reporter's wordplay and took a witty jab at the media personnel with a pointed reply. She clapped back and stated that the Tantra Mantra should be done on him only, as then all the paparazzi would obey her. She further questioned the person if they should do it. She was quoted as saying:
"Yeh to aap pe hi karna padega. Fir saare paparazzi mere mutthi mein hoga. What do you say? Karle? Sir pe hi karle? Then all the paparazzi will be listening to whatever I say."
It was in March 2025 when the news of their break-up first surfaced online. A few weeks ago, Pinkvilla also reported about the couple's ways of parting. Meanwhile, reports claimed that they had decided to remain cordial with each other. A report by Siasat claimed that the reason for their rift was that Tamannaah wanted to settle down while Vijay was not yet prepared for the same. However, it should be noted that neither Tamannaah nor Vijay has commented on the matter.
